The size of the slice was just right in terms of price, but way too big in terms of blandness. For me, mushrooms in anything are an appetite suppressant, especially mushrooms not mentioned in the description. I ordered 2 slices, and with the driver trip, that's $20 in the composting bin. I bought a spinach quiche individual serving at safeway last week and found it flavorless. Ditto with The Local's quiche."

"well, this certainly isn't the Bite you might have had in SF. Same names of sandwiches very different execution. Three sandos Cowboy, Napa, and custom and we were all "where's the cheese", even my couldn't-care-less-about-cheese wife was wondering why it was so cheese-lite. I had a custom deal with muffaletta salad and it was soooo sparse I had to add additional muffaletta mix (Marconi brand) just to taste what should've been a strong presence.

"I pre-ordered this for delivery two hours later. The dasher delivered everything on time and I immediately started eating. So excuses of delivery delays of me not eating it right away do not factor into this. My turkey pesto sandwich was so soggy, it was like a sponge. One side was also very burnt, but the sogginess made scraping the burnt section off easier, so there's that. It was also room temperature cold - and since they grill it like a panini, my guess is that they made it very early, then left it to sit and the condensation made it soggy. (The inside of the container was full of water droplets.) The amount of turkey was also very light - the sandwich was practically flat. The chai tea was good (very spicy), the pesto flavoring on the sandwich was good, and the side salad was good. But for over $20 total for a turkey sandwich and the tiniest chai tea I've ever seen, I expected much more than spongy, burnt and cold bread."
