"sooo good as always, big portions, so a bang for your buck :)"
"I always get the Lunch Grill Meal but this was the first time ordering it through DoorDash. I first have way more noodles than I asked for and there is hardly any meat and veggies in it as well upon which I asked for. With the amount of sauce you allow a person to get and I use the total limit and it still shows up bland and tasteless, you should think about updating the way others can order their food to be delivered so it's not a big waste of time and money."

"I was looking for a new Chinese restaurant that gave me nostalgia from my youth. This is it! The Mongolian Beef is tender and flavorful, and the hot and sour soup is very good and warming. "the Vegan Pho is unbelievably flavorful. it came with the broth piping hot, the perfect amount of veggies and rice noodles, and a flgenerous portion of sprouts, jalapeños, and herbs.. so fresh and full of flavors. the Crab Meat Rangoon (5 Pieces) was still warm and crispy. super tasty- my favorite place for the rangoons. i will be ordering again, probably soon!"
"I've ordered a number of times before, but this time it was awful. The spring rolls were raw, flavorless, and cold. The kimchi was more of a soup with a generous TWO pieces of tofu. The egg drop soup was horrible and tasted more like gravy. Will not be ordering again."

"Orange chicken was fire (really good) if I had it there instead of delivery it would've been perfect. Nice crunch perfect flavor. Crab Rangoon were good. Sweet and sour sauce was also great, it's the really sweet kind, which is the good kind IMO. "
"When ordering a la cart, the portions are super small, but so expensive! Also I ordered two sets of spring rolls and only got 2 total. Order was supposed to feed myself and my daughters but was only enough food for 1 person. First and last time ordering a la cart.
Food tasted good! Just super small portions and they didn't include the second set of spring rolls."

"This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! The rice so fluffy! Deep, well balanced flavors. Everything we've had has been so delicious and we have high standards for Asian food being an Asian household.

"Fun Chinese is amazing! My first time trying it. Sesame Chicken was delicious! Huge portions, nice amount of veggies. The Pan-Fried Dumplings were perfect, browned on all sides, served with the perfect sauce. The Crab Rangoon appeared to be hand made and fried to perfection. The oresent of the whole delivery in a cute reus bag and well packaged silverware was the icing on the cake! Definitely a new favorite!"
"This is my new favorite place to eat. I got the Crispy Tenderloin with sweet and sour and my girlfriend got the Braised Beef with spicy garlic. I'm not joking when I say that this was one of the best Chinese places I've ever gotten food at. They send your food in a thermo regulated bag that you can then use for whatever which is awesome. Even the plastic silverware is fancy lol. They packed it with meat, and all for a reasonable price. I would 💯 come back here anytime."

"I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice for (dinner) meal. crispy edges, yet juicy and tender on the inside of the chicken! The whole meal was still Hot which is a must have when getting it delivered.. I've been a Chinese food lover since I was a little kid. I could tell you from my range of experience with Chinese, this place will not let you down! Oh, and their crab rangoons, are filled to the brim with the cream cheese and imitation crab that just melts all your problems away! -The (imitation crab) is not strong in taste, which I personally like because I'm not a huge sea food fan.."
"The crab ragoon is lacking crab, didn't get a lot of fried rice and there were no vegetables in the fried rice?, the chicken was ok when you got a piece that was more chicken than batter. I feel like not the best value for what you get and then poor taste on top, no thank you."

"Food quality? Mediocre. Ordered two bowl combos, one sesame, one orange. When we went to grab our food, we realized that both bowls were the exact same, and we couldn't tell what the sauce tasted like. Zero sesame seeds, and not a hint of any orange flavoring.
As for the portion sizes, if you're going to charge out the wazoo for your food, at least give people enough food to make sure they're full.

The vegetables which included satueed vegetables and mushrooms were some of the best i have had. Even my daughter who does not like vegetables raved about them. The oilves vegetablez chicken hummus pita bread all balanced each other so nicely. Wish i would have ordered more hummus it was so good. We will have to go there tomorroow. Worth the price"
"The gyro salad was big and full of very tasty gyro meat. The vinaigrette was very good. My only complaint is with the toppers that you get to choose. Great variety but there wasn't much added to the salad. One or two olives, just a little bit of tomatoes and cucumbers and a sprinkle of cheese. Since it's my first time ordering, I'll try it again and hope that it was a fluke thing."

"Snow Crab Salad was small but flavorful. Crabstick Tempura (5 Pcs) they were half sticks. Cucumber Roll menu says crab meat but I didn't see or taste any. sushi was the size of a nickel. prices equal size of food. all was good"
"Steak was overcooked but still very tender and flavorful. Good Crab Rangoon if you like them on the sweeter side like I do. The miso soup didn't taste like miso. Not bad, just different. Iowa Roll was good quality for how little it cost. (D) Steak Bento was plenty of food. So happy there's a Japanese restaurant on the south side. I'll be ordering from here again!"

"Beef Sambuusa had a lot of flavor just wish there was more meat, the special 5 Special 5 Mixed Combo was AMAZING. My first time trying Ethiopian food and I couldn't believe my eyes or tongue I should say. It was all bursting with flavor. Injera is so soft and tangy, very good. "We recently ordered from 30Hop and had the best meal! Our food arrived exactly as we ordered it and looked even better than the pictures. The Salmon Zen Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've ever had with a large piece of well seasoned salmon and full of many different fresh veggies. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh ingredients. The portions were definitely more than we could eat and tasted great the next day. We can't wait to order from 30Hop again and try more of their amazing food! A great location and a must visit if you are in Ankeny!"
"First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."

"The Spicy Thai Basil lives up to the name. I order it with Chicken as my protein, and it comes with a side of rice.
It's delicious, actually spicy, and always hot when it arrives.
I love this place! The orange chicken is good too.
You can tell the food is made with passion and care. Thank you JJ Jasmine Thai! "
"Can I just say - WOW! This family-owned restaurant makes sure their customers leave well fed. The Angry stir-fry chicken I got was AMAZING! They made it extra spicy, as requested and they did not hesistate to load it up with plenty of chicken! Their potstickers were just as incredible, filled with lots of pork and veggies and their house sauce was so good I could almost drink it. I look forward to ordering again and encourage EVERYONE to support this wonderful small business. "
