"Tasty & good food, great portions. Ordered the codfish Dozen Patties . Probably made earlier in the day but a quick heat in the microwave with a damp paper towel did the trick. They're very flaky and lightly seasoned. Good with our morning coffees.
The Legume Lambi (conch) is a thick stew veggie medley that's incredibly flavorful. If you like calamari/scallop texture and want a (mainly) plant based meal this is AMAZING. Sides of black bean sauce, tub of white rice, and macaroni salad are included. $24 initially sounded high but it's a seafood delicacy that fed 2 adults, 4 light-medium meals. Great deal!
I am a bit hesitant when ordering online for certain places that often replace out of stock items with whatever, don't call, etc. but this place included everything, no issues at all and provided great service & quality food."
"This place is getting a thumbs down from me because how the Boulet meal only have 3 little meatballs like I didn't order a bowl of rice so add meatballs to the meal. They just added bunch of big pieces of beets with lettuce where's the finesse on making a nice side salad."

"I ordered a classic fritay and received no marinade or patat, four pieces of plantain, and 2 Akra. They did not change the oil, as I can smell red snapper in my meal. "Wow so delicious perfect portion well season this place is amazing food never disappoint "
"Absolutely NO FLAVOR!!! I'm American and know this food was nasty. I had to drown it in salt. ugh. the plantains were soft and greasy. I had griot. it was fried really nice and wasn't greasy but it was ultra bland and the onions had no kick like Good Taste restaurant. I knew I should have gone and waited on Good Taste's long line. no wonder the line is always to the door. the sos sauce was oily and dark. I never seen dark sos. i had akra. it was also bland but cooked well. do they even use seasoning on their food??? I won't go here again. I'll keep getting my delicious haitian food from Good Taste."

"IMMACULANT is the word. The rice was good, it was full of flavor. I would've given 5 stars if the rice was more fresh. I had a lot of rice left over which is a plus but the thing is it was too old to store and eat another day. Other than that everything else was great. "The Lakou Delight was delicious! The salad has fallen off the last two times I've had it. the squash and salmon have been over cooked. This time there was hardly any squash (about 4-6 small pieces) and the cranberries weren't quite ready. I still love Lakou though! I've been going there for years and rarely have any issues."
