But I was mistaken. When I finally got my order, I opened the chicken Shawarma plate and was immediately greeted by the aroma of a grill. I began to indulge. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice, serving as a plain and simple pallet cleanser. The fresh garden salad, as if it was picked from the Garden of Eden. The grilled potatoes, ohhh how warm, soft, and salty they were. And last but not least, the side of pickles so fresh that it reminds you of your Soviet grandma taking out a glass jar of her basement stored pickles. To wash it down, I got a Mexican coke because natural sugar cane tastes so good. "I liked the proteins in the Trio Combo Platter but the other parts leave much to be desired. The rice is plain and unflavored, which makes it much less palatable compared to the proteins. As great as the chicken kebab chunks were on their own, that just highlights how plain the rice is. The Luleh Combo Platter has the same issues to a large extent, but the protein wasn't as well marinated as the chicken. Due to the nature of the fish, the texture was also lacking the fibers that meat typically has. Overall, mixed feelings. "Oh my goodness, the food was absolutely delicious. The woodblock coffee is expensive and it's smaller than you think. If you order it for pick up, they leave the fluid almost 2 inches below the cup line. It's SO small and expensive that I thought that was ridiculous.
