They are doing something other restaurants can't do: provide fried chicken that shows up in good condition. Lawndale Fish Mkt is remarkable. The Pollo Tso / General Tso Chicken was good and huge as usual. Everything hot even though they're marked as "far away" for me which makes what they do even more special."

I ordered turkey, brisket and home link. The size of each was generous. I wanted to try the taste of the meats before dipping in sauce. Each one was lightly, nicely smoked. Very tender. The crust on the brisket was beautifully flavored and complimented the meat. The sausage was very flavorful and the skin had a nice snap to it when you bit into it. The sauce complimented the meats quite well. The baked beans were nicely flavored. The potato salad needed a lot of help. More chunky, less creamy. Add boiled eggs and some mustard. The fried okra was crispy. The cornbread muffin was way too dense, no flavor. Really needed some TLC. The muffin needs to be more flavorful and perfectly crumbly. Maybe add some jalapeno pieces. But definitely needs work. All in all, the meal was awesome. The meats were very tender and delicately tasty. I would definitely order from here again despite the distance from me. Kudos to the Gaitlan's BBQ. Was a beautiful experience indeed!"
