"This was my second visit to this Pepe’s location. I’ve been a loyal customer of the Alhambra location for over 45 years. However, this was my first time trying their green chile chicken enchiladas, which are just as flavorful. I highly recommend giving them a try. They have an incredible flavor, is the taste of the chicken is the best part. Most places use boiled chicken, which is not bad, but it doesn’t compare to their chicken. "I ordered the 3 Meat Fries . This is was my 2nd time ordering them . The first time I ordered them they were delicious!! And the portion was plentiful! The steak was so flavorful as was the chicken. The shrimps were cooked to perfection! So as you can imagine I was eagerly looking forward to them when I ordered them the second time. Boy was I disappointed, what was supposed to steak was mainly pieces of fat! There was hardly any chicken to be found and the overall portion was significantly less. This is not a cheap item. The first time was worth every penny! The second time they should have given me some money back!

But I wish it had more flavor overall. I enjoyed it with a squirt of lime along with the sauce that came with the tacos.
The tacos had a good flavor, but the tortillas were hard and chewy rather than crunchy. They're more like taquitos and they arrived with a red sauce, slivered onions, and parsley to go with it. While they were tasty, they reminded me more of the frozen kind found in stores. I don't think I would purchase again considering the price, but I did enjoy eating it!
