"The butter chicken poutine was excellent, and the wrap was a very good size. The gulub jamun was delicious, as was the mango lassi. They took extra care to wrap the lassi and gulub jamun in plastic wrap so nothing would be spilled in the bag, which was an extra touch that I appreciated."
"The 129. Paneer Makhni was pretty good, tasted very fresh, and the rice was perfect. The proportions for those two items were good. The naan bread was honestly terrible, I was extremely disappointed, it was burnt, seemed stale, and over priced, $5.99 for only one and it was the way it was? I expect it to come with two. Overall it was a pleasant experience, even though the naan bread was a huge disappointment."

"This place is Ottawa's best kept secret. We've been coming for years and we just saw they've placed themselves on door dash- game changer.
Their chicken shawarma is always so juicy and is amazing with saj. They also have pomegranate molasses which is another super delicious addition. I know Ottawa has a lot of great shawarma but I'd say hands down easy this is the best one."

"I think the value of this meal was great for the amount of food you get but at the same time, I wish there was more meat. I got maybe 7 pieces of chicken in the entire bowl I got. Otherwise it tasted very good and the vegetable quality was great. I don't think I would get this again unless I got a 2 for 1 deal because it doesn't feel worth $17."
"This is too good and a pretty good portion for this deal of buy 1 get 1. I put sweet sauce on mine and I do not regret It.

"I ordered the chicken over rice and my daughter had the lamb over rice with their white sauce as we have dubbed it the :Oh God" sauce. The meat was moist flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The rice was done perfectly, flaky indicidual pieces not slumped together like some places you could tell it was made fresh. The salad was a wonderful accompanying factor as well. I tried the hot sauce with mine and it was spicy, flavorful and perfect with the chicken. This is now our go to place for fresh, fast and delicious food that fills us up nicely. A must go to place for a beautiful meal. Side note I tried the falafel and its was ridiculously good as well. "

"I got the very same thing every time I visit Ottawa Shawarma.
It is consistently fresh delicious and perfectly made. I savour every bite!
They also graciously cut it into for me each time as I always get a large sandwich.
I would give them 10 stars if that were an option. The portion size is just perfect."
"I have been a client of Ottawa Shawarma since they opened.
I won't put in writing how many times I've been though, lol! But I can confidently tell you that they know me well enough to recognize that I would like my large sandwich cut into when I order. Depending upon who is prepping my food, they remember or there's a moment of recognition when I make the request, like this is the lady who's in here so very much!
The staff always warmly welcome me and the food is always exceptional. Consistently delicious, so fresh and generous with both the chicken and the veggies on my chicken sandwich.
I must confess that I don't know anything about their other selections as I only ever get the very same thing.!
On occasion, I also get their supremely tasty potatoes with garlic sauce and it is bliss. I save every bite.
I don't go to any other Shawarma place even though there are a few between my house and this location.
I know five stars is a high rating, but I would give them 10! Once you try their Shawarma, you won't want anyone else's!
I absolutely love Ottawa Shawarma.
I see that they like a photo of the food, but it never lasts long enough for me to take a picture."

"Little pricy vs before but tasty food"
"I genuinely do not understand the ratings for FEZ Shawarma. Before my order was even prepared, I called and asked if I could switch my order to the Saj Platter, which was actually cheaper than the plate I originally ordered. I was told no, even though it would have cost them less.
Then the food arrived and somehow got even worse. I left specific instructions, and none of them were followed. My plate showed up with no hummus, no garlic sauce, barely any potatoes, no pita bread, and a pile of dry, disgusting meat.
Seriously, how do you give somebody a shawarma plate with no hummus and no garlic sauce? Those are basic parts of the meal. Instead, I got a container full of dry meat, about four potatoes, and no pita bread. It was incomplete, poorly prepared, and felt like nobody cared what was being sent out the door.
The customer service was just as disappointing as the food. I called ahead to make a simple change to a cheaper platter and was told no. Then the order arrived missing half of what makes a shawarma plate a shawarma plate.
They should be ashamed of the quality they’re serving customers. I’ve ordered shawarma from plenty of places in Ottawa, and this was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Shawarma Palace is a million times better in terms of quality, portions, and consistency. Save your money and order elsewhere."

"Donair Plate : This place never disappoints, Worth the price, Portion sizes are great and the owner always accommodates my requests. The taste is consistent every time and the sauces and protein are fresh. Good job brother, keep it up."
"I really rreally liked the chicken shawarma came with generous amount of meat for the price I don't belive I have ever received the same amount of meat for same amount of price anywhere I tried in Ottawa or Toronto. The poutine was good but will say bit overpriced but the portions of all of them are generous too. Overall 8.5 to 9/10 great one"

"Love the white forest cake! A delicious generous sized cake. Cake, icing, roasted sliced almonds and strawberries as fresh as described. Second time I order this cake for my daughter birthday. Will order again!"
"Another chance with the fruit tart cake! It came in a gorgeous package. This time, instead of kiwis it included blackberries---it made me wonder if substitution of fruits was possible? I’ll try calling next time. Regardless it’s so fresh, delicious and a cake I often think about! I’m someone who gets sick easily if something is too sweet but this has a great balance."
