My issue was that the 2 bahn mi's I ordered were quite bland and lacked seasoning. I had asked for the traditional dipping sauce (Nước chấm) and fish sauce (nước mắm) but neither was provided.
The other issue was the lack of meat on the sandwich. These were not large sandwiches, just a bit longer than a 1/2 Subway sandwich. The average 1/2 Subway sandwich has 2-3 times the amout of protein than either of banh mi's I got here tonight.
Perhaps their other offerings are better. I ordered the Special Banh Mi and the Grilled Beef Banh Mi.
1st time ordering here, very disappointed, it will be my last time having delivery service here. Im sure it would be better to dine in here where you can have extra items and Vietnamese condiments brought to the table. I did ask they be included in my order though so that part is in them.
In conclusion, despite fresh ingredients, the sandwiches failed to deliver on the flavor and value categories. My two sandwiches were $10 each, a footlong from Subway will have more meat and cheese for only $12 on average."
