The Chucheta Carnitas (Fried pork) was super tasty also. It's small, like street taco size tortilla, but loaded with meat. The carnitas are juicy with crispy bits, and it's loaded with guac. The side of frijoles were in a tiny container, but also very good. Guacamole was fresh and a good amount (1/2 pint). Really good quick taco spot in the gaslamp!"

Unfortunately the Breakfast Burrito I ordered didn't arrive, I was given a totally different burrito all together. I believe it was a carne asada burrito with rice and beans and a slice of Anaheim Chile with cheese. The bag of Hot Carrots was a bit pricey for my liking but I am used to getting hot Hot Carrots for free but I guess you have to pay for them everywhere now a days. The consistency of the tacos was perfect, they didn't get soft, which sometimes happens with crispy tacos. I loved the green salsa that comes on the side too. I only have a suggestion on the carne asada fries: I would add pico, jalapenos, or cilantro and onions, I feel like they're missing something else to make them better, but they're good just as they're served. Also, the name of the dessert is "Churros" but in reality there's only one single churro, so changing the name to "Churro" would be good. "This was my first time ordering from House of Birria.
For starters, the food arrived fresh and on time. The 3 Cheesy Birria Taco Combo was very filling and delicious. The rice was fluffy and tasty. The flavor of the beans was bland to me, but still tasty, with the right amount of melted cheese. The stars of this combo were the three birria tacos. The seasoned, tender meat was amazing along with the diced onions and cilantro. The escabeche (pickled veggies: carrots and onions) and lime enhanced the already delicious flavor of the tacos.
The Cheesy Asada Taco (1) is another worthwhile item to order.
The rich flavored horchata was sweet with a hint of cinnamon. It could have used a bit more ice but that didn't take away from the goodness.

"I ordered the asada and adobada tacos.. flavor, portions and size were excellent. Only one observation (not a complaint) asada meat was a bit rubbery, still it tasted fresh and seasoned very well .
