I waited at the empty DoorDash counter for about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, then was told they had “unplugged” DoorDash and needed to see my phone, making me go back to my car and wait again. After all that, my food came out late, room temperature, and clearly not freshly made. The bagel dog was embarrassingly skimpy, the bagels were not toasted, there was barely any honey butter, and everything tasted off compared with how this place used to be.
This was my second bad experience in a row with the same order, after previously being told through a locked door that they were sold out and to “take it up with DoorDash” even though I’d already been charged. Between both visits I’m out around $80, the iced coffee was basically just ice with a little coffee, and every corner that could be cut was. After coming here since childhood, it hurts to say it, but I will not be returning"

The New Yorker, Ordered on an Onion Bagel Toasted, I guess they don’t Toast the bagels still white no signs of bagel being toasted. VERY STINGY with ingredients hardly can see items {Sprouts which charged extra for} in the bagel but they put a EXCESSIVE amount of cream cheese. ⭐️rating for the Bagel. "First time trying Habibi's. Ordered Sunday for lunch and items came quickly and warm. We were hesitant to try because of the cost, but my normal go to shawarma is all the way in Castroville.
The Beef & Lamb Shawarma Wrap and Chicken Shawarma Wrap are great portion sizes! Meat inside was well done and tasty (authentic lamb and you can taste it). Not overstuffed with rice like most places. Wrap comes with a tahini garlic sauce and pickled spicy sauce (which was just delicious).
Baba ganoush had a wonderful deep rich flavor with the pickled vegetables on top. If you're skeptical about price but want to try it, I'd say Habibis is worth the splurge. I'll be trying a shawarma plate next time I order."
