"Ordered dulet, and it came. Which is a big deal for the Ethiopian restaurants near here. Four times I have ordered dulet in the last year. Two of them got cancelled outright. The owner of the third restaurant called me to say they had run out of Dulet so have sent a replacement in its place, some "gaslight" affair I have never heard of while back home [and doesnt taste nearly half as good]. He also had the kindness of spirit to offer to come pick it up if I do not want it. The fourth was marked delivered without ever getting to me. But that was probably not the restaurant's fault. Plus, I got a swift response from doordash, and free express delivery while at it.
So, yes, I expected to be disappointed. I was really not. Well, except in the meat which clearly isnt lamb, but tougher, harder, no bueno. Injera was as good as one can expect when dining away from home. Size generous. Packaging great. Taste.... 7 out of 10. Which spells success in my book. But doubt I'll order again. 3.5/5."

"Absolutely the "go-to" spot (the other Mr G locations as well) for middle -East menus in Seattle. A clean well-lighted place with a fresh and aromatic take on our faves: shawarma, gyros, falafel, kebab.
On the side the tzatziki and hummus are tangy and very fresh. The pita is always today's and is in a sweet spot between earthy/grain-ey and chewy, picking up the mix of flavors in the sandwich (plates are great too but I always end up making little sandwiches so good to order the extra pita or two).
Altogether delicious and (if your eyes aren't TOO much bigger than your stomach!) filling but not something you need to take a nap after. There's a lot of hype out there about restaurants but this one is sure fire. Most highly recommended. And the Arsheed brothers have been feeding Seattle eastern-Mediterranean cuisine (breakfast/brunch also in Greenwood) for over 20 years to high acclaim and reviews far beyond the borders of our fair city.
