"This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but unfortunately, it seems to be getting worse every time we order.
The Iskender doner was very tough, thick, and completely lacking in flavor. We couldn’t eat it and ended up throwing it away. The “Sauced Eggplant” was also very disappointing — we could literally find only one piece of eggplant in the entire portion, and even that wasn’t properly cooked. The rest was mostly peppers and an overly oily tomato sauce. Even the pide that came with our order was stale :(
We also ordered the Liver Cubes, but they were not delivered because they were out of stock.
I honestly don’t know if the restaurant has changed ownership or if there has been a change in the kitchen, but I really wish it could go back to the way it used to be. This was genuinely one of the best and most delicious Turkish restaurants in Tampa, which makes the decline in quality especially disappointing."

I've been looking for that creamy white, tangy, garlicky, LARGE GARLIC SAUCE since I left the West Coast 7 years ago! FOUND IT! The GYRO MEAT is flavorful and moist. The PITA BREAD is always soft. I had an incredible experience with Babushka’s! Every single item in my order was absolutely divine. The Beef Bliny was rich and satisfying, the Vinegret Salad (large) was fresh and perfectly balanced, the Borscht ~ with the added Pompushki & Salo - was soul - warming, and the Honey Cake was the perfect sweet finish.
The restaurant’s attention to detail is truly impressive ~ everything was beautifully packaged, the order was accurate down to every detail, and they thoughtfully included plenty of sour cream, utensils, and napkins. You can tell they really care about the customer experience.

•The samosas were very good- crispy, flavorful, and light. They would have been amazing with a sauce or chutney, but they were served alone.
•The shawarma was tasty, although not exactly exciting. It was a little bit on the dry side and the filling could be more balanced in the roll (one side had more than the other, the middle had the most. Both ends were empty). The chicken was very well-seasoned.
•The baklava was delicious. Adding pistachios gives a unique touch on a classic dessert, and helps to balance out the sweetness. Unfortunately, the middle was cold (like it came from the fridge) and the portion is literally the size of two quarters.
•My falafel was missing from the order so it could not be reviewed.
Overall I might try eating here in person, but I would not order for delivery again. The bag was unsecured (not stapled or even tied). Each individual item was "closed" but not sealed in any way. The flavors were good and would be even better with the proper execution."
