"The Lebanese Sesame Cheese Pizza is absolutely delightful! I had a long day setting up for a conference and just wanted a simple dinner in my hotel room. So, I decided to try the Lebanese Sesame Cheese Pizza and some hummus with their house made pita bread and I was amazed by how delicious everything was. I have plenty of leftovers that will probably be dinner tomorrow night, and I will probably be ordering this exact same order another time before I leave... plus every time I come back for work which is very frequently! I'll definitely try other things from this restaurant in the future, but every single item I ordered tonight was incredible!!!"
"Nicholas is one of my oldest standbys. I've never noticed anything even slightly off. Very consistent product for the 20 years I've been going here on the recommendation from a good vegan friend of mine who loves the falafel.
I don't usually write reviews, but I came back just to report how flavorful and tender my chicken kabab is. I usually get the falafel, gyro, kofta or lamb, but today I saw several reviews on here complaining about dry chicken supposedly was for them, and I knew that it couldn't be true, so I ordered the chicken just to prove it to everyone. I've had all the other Mediterranean cuisine in town, and Nicholas and their sister restaurant, Ya Halla, are among the best. "

"The food is palatable but not great. The Veggie Maza Plate came with one very tiny pita. The falafel is dense, bland and boring, hummus is good, baba has good flavor but it's so chunky it's more like a chutney, not sure what happened there.

"Beyond stingy on meats on the Super Greek and the Cubano Grilled Cheese. Basically a salad with very little meat and the cubano has WAY more mustard than any sandwich should ever have. Barely any meat on that either - and add in all of the mustard - honestly inedible. Very disappointed for sure. Will not be ordering again. "

"When you order the chicken kebab mezze, it comes with dip for a party of four and pita for one. Stingy. Not impressed considering how pricy it is. Half the chicken was dry and too hard to chew, the other half was tender. Guessing I got some leftover chicken. It wasn't a huge portion, compared with other places. The seasoning for the chicken was lovely, though. Haven't tried the soup yet. Not sure if I'd o order from here again. Hummus was fine. Very basic- with tahini, not garlic. Tzatziki was not my fav, and I usually. Like it elsewhere. The babaganoush is really good.
For the price, send proper pita. That's my only real issue."

"Current available reviews are mostly three years old. I was able to call the store and explain I have celiac disease, no wheat no batter. I've never had this dish so it was very under described. He called me and asked my preference. It is fresh, has wonderful flavor. I see areas of broccoli over ripe and a couple leaves that are near expiration. I don't mind he's not wasting food! I prefer he not. I set mine up in two different bowls, one more like a salad and then the glass noodles are separate and I still have almost half this soup broth I can add. There are two different flavor packets for your preference, and of course, what we have at home. I wanted to show the packaging to show the care he took for separating items. Even the greens that go over the glass noodles. This was well worth this price. This is gonna be my go to now and it's way too much food for me right now. But I'm sure you're gonna do my best. Again, normally you would see the tofu fried but I don't want it fried. I wanted it white. He even gave me choices of where to put that."

Unfortunately, the rest of my order was disappointing! the chicken wings which were supposedly deep fried, looked nothing like the gallery photo, and instead were yellow, undercooked and depressingly soggy. I will have to finish them in my air fryer, which is lame. There were only 3 whole wings total in this 14$ item, not enough for 2 unless it is a tasting menu. The rice and parsley salad that came with the Schwarma were only enough for one person also. The lebneh was enough for 2 people, but the mint that the description on the menu made it sound like was part of the item, was actually only a garnish and I had to tear the leaves off to get any of the mint. The pita was also disappointing- I recommend going to Barbur World Foods for their home made pita bread. And then there was the sad, tiny sized Baklava that was both crunchy and filled with granules of pistachios. The food was 85$ too much."

"Tangier is a constant go-to for me and has been for years. The Moroccan Chicken is one of my favorite dishes in Portland. I always grab the Meat Mezza Platter as well to get a different flavor of chicken.... as well as lamb, pita, humus, baba ganoush, tabouli, etc. Their Baba Ganoush is top-tier.... do not skip that part if you are a fan.
This place is one of the hidden gems of us Portland locals."
"The Veggie Grape Leaves was $15 for 4 in a huge case with a whole cup of runny tahini poured everywhere, it looked very unappetizing to begin with. The tahini wasn't good, the grape leaves were not inedible but for the price it's absolutely not worth it. The Lentil Soup was bland and a small portion for the price too. The Moroccan Chicken itself was pretty good, but the sauce was very greasy and the rice was bland. Not a good experience, very overpriced for what you get and it looked thrown together without care. Not coming back unfortunately. We'd been looking forward to trying it for a long time."

"This was honestly divine! WOW!!! I can't say enough good things. I was wary about choosing the Tawook Wrap Combo (or even without the combo) because there were no pictures or direct reviews about this but WOW - am I glad I did! I'm not kidding. This is the best wrap/meal I've had in a LONG time.
The fries are actually **really** really good. It's a hit or miss on crinkly fries, in my opinion. This ones hit the mark - LEGIT. Crunchy on the outside, warm and smooth on the inside. OUTSTANDING. The sauce on top is really good too. It's more orange-ish/red than the other pics, not sure exactly what it is but it's GOOD. I think it might be mayo-based but it's not a typical 'ketchup-mayo' sauce.
Now onto the 'piece de resistance' - the Tawook Wrap is PHENOMENAL. The chicken is genuinely moist and cooked to PERFECTION. This is sooo good and DELICIOUS that I keep taking breaks from this review to go back to the meal and take bites (from the wrap *and* the fries) IT'S SOOO GOOOD - REALLY.
The part that's supposed to be "coleslaw" inside is really more like larger bits of lettuce and/or mayyybe cabbage. Not like thin slices of cabbage and carrot with a particular that we're used to here in the states but, again, GOOD, nonetheless.
