The dough on this pizza, as well as on the pepperoni Pepperoni Magnifico® we ordered, was not well docked, which essentially means the dough was allowed to go through with a bunch of air pockets (the picture does not do it justice). Ultimately, the bubbles caused a separation in the dough, causing bites where the bubbles were to crumble, while the areas in between the bubbles pooled with sauce. "I've ordered from Sbarro numerous times. Salad is always great. The meatballs are excellent. But i order cause I love pizza. I usually get a single slice. Some days are better than others. The not so good days are when the body of the crust is too thick and it barely has any cheese on it, delivered cold etc. But the days that taste the best are when the body of the crust is thin (like a NY style slice) and they put a nice amount of cheese on it, that not only has great flavor but when delivered hot, I take a bite, I have a string of cheese between my mouth and the slice that I have to grab and break apart and it's so melty and full of flavor I can't wait for the next bite. And then the outer piece of crust that is left is the perfect blend of harder on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. And even better when dipped in garlic sauce. Today's door dash order was the first order I received that also had Parmesan cheese and pepper flake packets in it which was a pleasant and very yummy surprise. It had a total of 4 pieces of banana peppers on it... they put regular peppers on it that I don't like and didn't order. I also had pepperoni, sausage, and onion. there was plenty of cheese and way too much sauce. the crust was great, and overall, the flavor was fantastic despite the other problems. very overcharged for what came. "This is incredibly, amazingly, wonderfully good pizza. I finally have a pizza that I can enjoy without guilt: I get the vegetarian with every possible vegetable I can imagine, with tomato sauce and olive oil. Goat cheese(just because I love goat cheese). My penance for getting the goat cheese is no mozzarella or provolone -- but this pizza is so good that I don't need any more cheese. I even get thespelt crust with whole wheat,normally I'm not crazy about whole wheat, but the flavors of this wonderful pizza are so terrific that I never notice that the crust isn't white flour.
All-in-all, I couldn't have invented a healthier choice than this pizza. Even my husband (who normally runs for the hills if I tell him something is good for him) loves this pizza.
Their salads are also beautifully prepared and delicious...a meal in their own rights.
For those who want their pizza to be as it's always been, Sol has plenty of topping and cheese choices. For those who, like me, are trying to eat in a more health conscious manner, this is heaven. This pizza is prepared beautifully, and with great thought and conscious care.

I called after the first time I ordered from them, to tell them what a fantastic meal we had had. Therein lies my only mild criticism: the (very young) man to whom I spoke, who said he was the manager, seemed to have absolutely no response to a customer who called to compliment the food. He could barely handle the one word he did manage to say, "Okay." He repeated that several times, with a question mark after each "Okay?" He never even said "thank you" for the compliment. I believe a little customer relations training may be in order ;)
