"As you can see, they only give you half the bowl of Ndole which is quite annoying. Food is good, but the portion are extremely small. I ordered from this restaurant various times, and even spoke with the owner/manager about it, but nothing. I love Ndole and my brothers and I grew up eating it every day. Every 2-3 weeks, I drive over 46 miles, and have to pay for TWO orders of it just so l can have enough of it for dinner, and yet... it's still not enough. The food was truly the highlight. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Every bite felt like a true taste of Colombia. The empanadas were also exceptional, perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful fillings. And the fresh juice options, like maracuya and lulo, were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.
The staff at Platinos was warm and attentive, eager to share their recommendations and make sure we were enjoying everything. It added such a personal touch to the whole experience.
