"I celebrated my birthday at Aaktun. We enjoyed the Strawberry Lemonade, Horchata Latte, Tropical Shrimp and Grits, OG Burger, and The Little Bull French Toast. Reading the menu can be a little intimidating if you are not familiar with the flavors or items. I was very hesitant about the Shrimp and Grits after reading the ingredients on their website, but it tasted amazing! Also, when I saw the pictures on the site, I almost did not try this restaurant. "Loved it. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. I ordered the House Blend, and while it was good, I think next time I may try the Cajun flavor to compare. The shrimp, crab, sausage, potatoes, and corn were all cooked well, and I ended up finishing everything because it was that satisfying.
My only suggestions would be to offer an option for an extra side of melted butter and to include sturdier seafood tools or crackers for customers who may not have their own at home. Thankfully, I had my own utensils, so it wasn’t a big issue.
