"We've been eating at Applebees for as long as it's been here. Since we've had to shift to delivery (health problems) we've gotten a few opinions. First of all I suggest ordering your steak at a way lower temp than you would if you were there. Those plastic containers actually will steam your food . They do a proper cook on a steak. Also, Sirloin is a very flavorful cut, it's just not the tenderest cut. Thus the price. The ribs are great. The mister loves desert. Used to be you'd get 5 or 6 decent size leaves of lettuce, and a good helping (maybe 1/3 cup) of the toppings that go in the wraps. What made it worse is that the red pepper wasn't crispy and fresh, but kind of slimy and chewy, there was less than a teaspoon of cilantro and about five small won ton strips, and none of the cups were covered with lids, so we basically had what few toppings we received all over the inside of the styrofoam containers. For $40, I would have expected a little more, especially since they used to be so good and filling. The icing on the cake - I paid for Express Delivery so I'd get my order within 30 minutes, and still ended up waiting over 45. A very disappointing $50 spent!"
