I recently tried this location for the first time, and I was absolutely delighted! The cheese rolls were a new addition for me, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delightfully crispy they were – a perfect little treat! The small spicy potatoes had a surprising kick to them, but they were still incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with the rest of the meal. The beef kebob and chicken skewer were both juicy and tender, not dry at all, with the (beef) meat still slightly pink inside – just the way I like it. Everything was beautifully prepared, and the garlic and tzatziki cups added that extra touch of flavor.

"I discovered this restaurant years ago by chance just around the corner from The Promenade on South St, Cerritos. It is exceptional! I almost always get grilled chicken, charred and cooked to perfection and big portion, along with rice, Mediterranean salad, cucumber yogurt and pita. It is just fantastic and generous. "First thing that caught me when I took the bag from the Dasher was the yummy aroma of the Crispy Saffron Rice Cake with Braised Chicken & Barberries. I was like, yeah, this is going to be good. The food container was wrapped with a lovely decorative paper ribbon. Nice touch! When I opened the container, I was greeted with a beautiful paper wrapping (see my photo). Nice presentation! When I opened the wrapper there stood a beautiful Crispy Saffron Rice Cake with Braised Chicken & Barberries. (See photos). Amazing presentation!! Tje cake was gorgeous! The flavor was good---you can taste the spices listed in the description. The crusty rice was nice! I added a little bit of salt and it was really good. As I started eating I felt like I should have gotten tomato and cucumber salad to add a little acid and balance out the richness of the meal (I know, I sound like some Food TV chef x-D, but for me it was true). So I cut up a vine tomato, salted it and ate it with the food and it was really tasty to me. The rice cake may look "small" but once you cut it open you see it's a generous portion--I could not finish it. Also delicious was the Pistacho Baklava. I will definitely order again. And if you're into minimal waste, you'll like their packaging and the wooden utensils. I like actual flatware (hard plastic or metal) so next time I'll say no utensils. "

The portion size of the Chicken Shawarma & Beef Shawarma was about 1 1/2 cups of each for $10 each. It was good but not for $10 each. Thats not much food. The biggest disappointment was the $7 for a side of Side of Rice. In the picture provided was the entire portion provided. It was barely a cup of cooked rice and it was dry. The Grape Leaves , for some reason, were sweet and the oil from them leaked all over the bag. The only thing that did not disappoint was the Spicy Hummus, Red Cabbage Salad and the Dubai chocolate cookie skillet.
