Chicken was tender. Vegetables and cashews perfectly cooked and crunchy. Garlicky! A lot like a Kung Pao with cashews instead of peanuts and no black pepper. Sweet and sour pork had crunchy batter, tender pork, sauce has a lemony citrus flavor.

The Deep Fried Garlic Chicken Wing were crispy on outside, moist and juicy on the inside, without being too greasy somehow. And the Szechuan Beef wasn't too spicy but really flavorful. The veggies weren't super fresh or al dente, but instead were well sautéed, soaked up all the flavor. And let's face it. It is hard to get veg in a delivered meal these days. As gor the cucumber salad, every time we order it we get different amounts of cucumbers, either a whole lot, filling the bowl it comes in or, like tonight, we received a single layer of 5-6 cucumbers. "We've been ordering food from PC Restaurant the last seven years - the food is always freshly prepared and reliably very good. We always end up over-ordering because we like so many of their dishes. If anything, the food has gotten even better over time. The only thing we miss is that recently we haven't seen chow mein with crispy noodles.
The Hot & Sour Soup (Bowl) has the right balance of acidity and heat - a lot of restaurants seem to skimp on the vinegar, but PC's is great.
Their Almond Chicken is proper - served with almonds and a proper gravy with actual flavor.

"This was my first order and I am very pleased. I wish I had taken a picture. My food came in recycleable containers and the reuseable bag was post consumer materials. My salad had mixed greens in addition to the usual iceberg lettuce. The dressing was generous. I was able to substitute stir fry vegetables for rice, which I did. I like rice, but it was unusual to get this substitution, so I wanted to try it. I could have also still added a side of rice. The vegetables were carrots, broccoli, onion, and cabbage. Not very imaginitive. I like my vegies a little more tender. If I have to attack them with the fork, they need a little more time. The flavor was good but I was tempted to stick them in a pan for a toss. There is space for special directions, however, when ordering. Next time, I will ask them to stir fry a little longer. I ordered Pork Teriyaki. It was tender and good. Not salty or dry or fatty. Some places make it oily so that it shines, but this did not have that mouth-feel. It was good. One thing I really liked about my meal was that it was the right size for one person. If you were looking for a mountain of food to reheat tomorrow, you would be unhappy. I really liked the fact that my servings were perfect and I had just what I needed to feel satisfied. My order was delivered, I cannot comment on what it's like inside. It is only 14 degrees outside but my order only took 10 minutes longer than estimated--excellent time with ice on the road on a Friday night. It was nice and warm when it got here. I will be back for more.

"Overall, the food here was good, but a few things are worth mentioning. I've been eating Tom Yum soup for decades, and the base is always prepared in the same way. A hot and sour broth with button mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and cilantro. The Tom Yum soup here has a very good broth, but it's filled with vermicelli noodles, scallions, spinach and peanuts.
