That's not roti and for the price we paid, it was a joke. The egg roti was about the only saving grace. Secondly, there was no biryani. Thirdly they have the creme caramel, so just took it upon themselves to give us something we didn't order. Finally, most of the dish was just rice!! Where's the actual curry and meat? There was literally one small piece of meat for the entire meal! This, by far, has been THE worst order through Doordash by a mile. Nearly $80 later, we are never ordering from here again."

"I ordered the Nasi Goreng and Chicken Geprek from your restaurant, and unfortunately both dishes were extremely disappointing.
The Nasi Goreng was absolutely bland — I’ve never tasted such a flavourless version in my life. It lacked any proper seasoning, spices, or the characteristic wok hei/smoky flavour that makes this dish special. It felt like plain rice with a few random bits thrown in.
The Chicken Geprek was even worse. The chicken was incredibly rubbery and tough, making it very hard to chew. It had no crispiness on the outside and was chewy and dry inside. It was genuinely difficult to eat.
I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. The quality needs serious improvement if you want customers to return."

"Have ordered from here for years- before it was named D'Tandoor, when my extended family visited- and the Makhani/ Butter Chicken was the one food (of anything in her life) that my Grandma ever loved enough to have seconds of. Since then, I've introduced this restaurant to my partner and since the first time he requested Cheese Naan instead of plain naan (which is also delicious), we are especially hooked. Favourite dinner ever. Both the regular and the large sizes are enough for multiple serves for at least two people, sometimes more- same with the Cheese Naan but that doesn't last as well because it ends up getting devoured far too quickly. Makhani, korma, Dahl and saag are our favourites, but we will forever come back here for as long as we can for the delicious, creamy Butter Chicken and the cheesy naan (different to paneer naan but they have that too).

"The satay was outstanding! Succulent and juicy. The Har Mee broth was so deliciously Umami with a good spicy kick. Really enjoyed those.
The Nasi goreng however, was disappointingly underwhelming. It was dry, scant on the ingredients and lacked flavour - apart from the bitter curry powder it was flavoured with. Regretfully that was the item we ordered a double portion of.
Still, we had many a good meal there and enjoy the decent service & good. On the whole, Laksa King still remains on our list and is definitely worth a try... just maybe give the Nasi goreng a miss."
