"I dont know if it's the "Tuesday" chef, but everything I got was mediocre at best.
I usually get the Ultimate Fish and Chips, and I'm always excited to see that big piece of fish, but it just was not good. The batter, which is usually light and crispy, was thick and chewy, the inside of the batter where the fish is was just uncooked. The batter was like a thick piece of fabric. It came off the fish in one piece and FOLDED. The batter pulled away from the fish as soon as I cut it. The fish inside was fine. I ate that on its own. Can I also say that while we got a couple of little containers of tartar sauce for the fish, they were only halfway filled. Not enough for the fish.
The Shepherds Pie, which is usually pretty good, was a bit tinny, very metallic in taste. For the price of this dish, it was not done well—as well as I have had it here in the past.
Buffalo wings were good. No problem there.
Salad was good as well.
All in all, for spending over $100 for dinner, I don't think I got my money's worth.
I'll be taking a break from you, St Stephen's Green. I'm very disappointed.

Both came with mashed potato's missing the promised gravy on all orders. Then to add insult to injury they included a DoorDash price mark up of over 20%! I don't like being taken by unscrupulous restaurants. I won't order here again and suggest you use caution with this restaurant! "

I was genuinely disappointed by the portion size of the Seared Salmon which is unfortunate given how delicious it was. The salmon was well cooked and the sauce was delectable, but I just wish that the portion balance was adjusted to allow for less of the sides and more of the entrée.
It must have been a busy night when I had ordered because there were some minor QC issues with the sides. Specifically, I was sent the default pairings instead of my chosen sides. But credit where it's due, Eureka knows their potatoes, and the fingerlings hold up to the same standard as the acclaimed Truffle fries. It's just a shame that they weren't packaged separately because their crispiness didn't travel well and ended up covered in the salmon sauce. "Ordered 2 cakes recently for birthday parties and they were delicious. Both the Black Forest and Carrot cake were not only delicious, but beautifully decorated. The Black Forest cake was moist, deliciously chocolate, and not overly sweet. The carrot cake was scrumptious and the frosting was yummy.
