The potatoes are good, great flavor, but not fully creamy or mashed, its kinda lumpy with potato skins but not to many. it is red potatoes which I aalso use for mashed if I do not have yellow Golds, but will use both because russet potatoes are disgusting and the skins aren't edible imo! reds or yukon Golds are waxy potatoes and amazing for mashed or potato salad especially!
