"This was my first time trying India's Clay Pit, and it was excellent! We had the Sag Aloo and Paneer Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan and Vegetable Samosas. "I have been ordering here for years and it is always high quality. They have my favorite Sag Paneer in Los Angeles. Their Masala sauce is delicious, I often get vegetable masala but I have had chicken and it is great too. Also a big fan of their chicken vindaloo. Naan portions are fair for the price.

The owner, Raz, stood out after checking in on customers at each table in the cozy traditional restaurant hidden in Old Pasadena, and I've gotten to know the staff (Adam, and a few others) when I bring people to my favorite spot.
When I can, I eat in with friends and clients looking for authentic atmosphere and dishes, and would recommend their Nepalese cabbage dish, samosas, mixed tandoori platter, and Aloo Gobi. All fresh, home-made, efficient and personalized service. But it's consistently a great option to order from DoorDash as well. I tend to order very spicy, and they consistently deliver.
