"Batter on the Potato Scallops and Fish Cocktails was 10/10. Stayed really crunchy, and didn't go overly soggy or stale even when left in the fridge overnight. Tasted fresh and perfectly cooked.
It is worth paying extra for the chicken salt - I'm not sure which brand they use, but it's delicious!
A note that the side sauces are actually good sized containers poured by the restaurant, not pre-packaged sachets or squeeze packets. I'm guessing that this is why they are $2 each vs <$1 or included in the cost?
Unfortunately, we found that lemon is not supplied by default either.
Despite the additional costs with extras normally included in the price (e.g. chicken salt, sauce, lemon), we will continue to reorder from this restaurant in the future as quality has been a consistent 5/5 from these guys. Batter is fantastic, fish tastes fresh, potato scallops are a perfect thickness, etc. "
"Fish fillet was surprisingly big, chips were decent (some super crisp, but overall all kinda dry), batter did get soggy on the underside but that was mostly fixed by the air fryer. Absolute robbery though to charge $2 for extra tartare only to receive 1 squeezy packet - also, charging extra for chip salt is frankly unaustralian."

"Loved everything. The Sujuk & Cheese Pocket is a very cheesy half a pizza (calzone) size. So filling that it has to be consumed in 2 sessions - lunch & dinner. It might end up costing $10 more if you order extras like chopped cucumber +mint +capsicum, which it needs. But that's all fine. The store did an exscellent packaging job in a separate plastic container for my extra, and your order items are printed out & stuck onto each container, fully readably (nice printer)!

The hoki and battered white fish from the kids menu tastes exactly the same as the home brand frozen battered fish you can get from the supermarket. Chips are not fried long enough and seasoned well. The included salad can be finished in 3 bites. The tartare sauce comes in the smallest sauce cups I have ever seen, you can't even cover half of the fish with it. Don't waste your money here."

Unfortunately, today I had to settle for takeaway due to a sports injury, and while the convenience of eating at home isn’t bad, it just doesn’t compare to the full dining experience. The Massaman beef with coconut rice and roti was nothing short of phenomenal. The beef was so tender, soaked in a rich, fragrant curry that had just the right amount of spice. The coconut rice was perfectly fluffy and paired beautifully with the roti, which was warm and soft—just how it should be.
Even in takeaway form, everything arrived fresh and hot, and the portions were generous—just like when dining in. You can tell they don’t cut corners, no matter the setup. It’s a place where the passion for food really shines through. While it’s not quite the same as enjoying a meal in-house, it still hit all the right notes.
