The hush puppies also had great flavor and as I mentioned earlier they give you a good amount; about 12-13; which is about double what I'm used to getting. The collards are good also but could definitely use a little more cooking to soften the greens a little more and infuse more flavor. My only disappointment was the chicken portion. Instead of actual pieces of chicken, I received what were essentially two very small chicken drumsticks with no meat, just skin and bones. I was so disappointed I almost cried, especially since I was already halfway back to the Bay Area before I realized it, so there was nothing I could do.
Even with that issue, the food itself was so delicious that I’d definitely like to give them another try. I’m hoping this was just a one-time mistake because the flavors were truly outstanding."
