For $4.62 I wasn't sure if that was referring to 1 or 2, depending on the Salvadorian restaurant I've seen some for cheaper so it could've gone either way. Unfortunately it was only 1, which is fine but I felt like the quality and size of a single one should've been a bit higher or bigger. I've had pupusas elsewhere that come in a big styrofoam box, but instead these were put in a dessert styrofoam sized box. I would've hoped that the condiments would've been the saving grace, but that too felt like a disappointment. If I could pay a bit more for a pupusa that's of higher quality or size, I would pay, but as is, there's too much to be left desired for me to order again anytime soon from here."

The Newport Ave. is smooth and a winning combo. I wonder if it tastes the same with the protein added. this is a carnitas place. I did not get carnitas, I got Pozole Michoacano / Michoacan Pozole and Menudo. I only eat Menudo from very specific places because my grandma from Michoacan, always spoiled us with the best menudo, so I often end up dissapointed. In my opinion, both the pozole and the menudo were extremely greasy and the menudo flavor just did not meet expectations.
