"It was late night, so I wasn't expecting much - but this was absolutely the worst.
I ordered a Chicken and Beef Burrito that was described as; "Flavorful burrito filled with a juicy combination of seasoned chicken and beef, wrapped in a warm tortilla. Serving with Yellow Rice, Pino Beans, Tomatoes, Red Onions." I add sour cream for an additional $1.99. The burrito was stuffed with French fried potatoes. There was no chicken and very little beef. The burrito was basically soggy french fries wrapped in a flour tortilla. The sour cream I paid extra for was missing from the burrito.
The picture of the jalapeño poppers gave me the impression that they'd be a cut above what one would normally expect. For $13.99 they were the lowest grade you could possibly find. Jack in the Box has better poppers for $6.79
The Frozen Tiramisu was advertised as 'buy one get one free.' I bought one but did not get one for free. I have to say it was good. However, my roommate wanted to try it as well and I was going to give him the free one. I make tiramisu often, using the New York Times classic tiramisu recipe and he wanted to compare mine with the frozen one offered here.
I really find it hard to believe that a place like this could be in business. A french fry burrito for $15.95, the worst poppers I've ever had for $13.99 and an ok tiramisù that was falsely advertised. Everything that I ordered was completely misrepresented on the menu, basically fraud. "

Papa a la Huancaina was average, but the smell of the olives was seriously overpowering and put me off the dish and the huancaína was very grainy. Lomo Saltado was good meat quality, but very small portions and the flavor was off for me. I would definitely call myself a Peruvian food connoisseur and this place is just not it. I had requested the Aji Verde sauce, but they didn't have it. Really?? There needs to be a "meh" option between the thumbs up and thumbs down because neither of those feel right.
