"Always delicious, always fast, always the best decision I make for my vegetarian self when I get too hungry to think straight. Thank goodness I can default to my usual order of Paneer Tikka Masala medium on the spicy side, Serrano Chilli Naan with extra chilis, and Basmati Rice. The two-for-one vegetarian appetizer deals have made me *and* my neighbor very happy lately. She's just as gaga over the Daal Soup as I am, and she's extra pleased when I add some Palak(Spinach) Pakora to our little feast. Despite being fried, these tasty battered nuggets keep crispy overnight--which is good because both she and I enjoy them with lunch. I'm so glad Sugandh exists! It's been my no-brainer go-to since 2018. And what a boon it keeps such suburban-late hours, too!"
"Usually don't leave reviews but because the gluten free garlic pesto naan was spot on with taste plus the chatney was amazing! Loved the way the masala chai was packaged with plastic wrapping around the cup to prevent spilling and even under and over the lid! The delivery was so quick my chai still had steam coming out of it! Thank you"

"We went here for the first time on Christmas Day and had a fabulous lunch. So many dishes to choose from and we chose many to share. Portion sizes were perfect; we all were able to try everything. All were delicious! Our server was very attentive and friendly. A small restaurant where the food is so flavorful. I highly recommend trying Urban Momo! Great experience!

"Ordered Egg Biryani and Pav Bhaji. Packing was great. So was the taste. Its been a while I had such a good biriyani. The spice level was just right of the biriyani was just right. Pav Bhaji had the good amount of butter and the flavour was great. "
"I was really disappointed with this order, especially for the price. At around twenty dollars per entree, I expected much better. The Chicken Tikka Masala was overly sweet, very oily, and had a thin, consistency instead of a rich, creamy sauce. Once mixed with the rice, it honestly just tasted like oil. On top of that, there were maybe three to five small pieces of chicken. The Palak Paneer was unfortunately even worse. It was extremely bland, overly oily, the same thin consistency, not saucy at all and honestly not edible. I couldn’t finish it. Overall, the food felt low quality and overpriced. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t order these dishes again."

"The food quality was awesome on both the Chicken Coconut Curry and the Prawn Vindaloo Chicken Curry with Rice Pilav. The Vegetable Samosa though tasted fantastic, the portion for its high price was very disappointing. Each order came with two, which was slightly larger than a golf ball. The H1 Chicken Biryani was mellow, nicely spiced, and very fulfilling.
The F2 F2. BUTTER CHICKEN is honestly the best butter chicken I've had. The sauce was flavourful and very cardomam forward. The chicken felt like it was smokey which added an extra depth to it all. Also the sweetness was just perfect."

"Delicious! The Grilled Chicken Boti Thali had great flavor and was plentiful. The sauce on the paneer was creamy and rich with plenty of veget and paneer cubes. The daal was thick and tasty. The little chopped salad that comes with it had a ginger dressing that cut the richness of the meal. A wonderful meal!"
"It's not often that you want to call the chef and personally thank them for delivering such high-quality food. The Chicken Tikka Masala Ala Carte was cooked to near perfection. Not your run of the mill chicken pieces thrown in curry, this is prepared, authentically with the chicken having a nice char in the curry from the tandoor/grill. Naan was very fluffy, soft and large! "Shocked that I didn't 5-star them when I first tried a few months ago. Tandoori Chicken is great, mildly spiced and not boring, made a good road trip lunch. Calamari Pakoras were unusual and very satisfying. Kabuli Naan was also good - a bit decadent, sweet flatbread - as was the Nimbo Pani, which was lemonade plus a bit of proprietary flavouring. Big kudos for Chicken Salad, which is a nice fresh greens salad with a packet of tandoori chicken bites you mix in to keep from getting bored. I loved it all, can heartily recommend and will return myself."
"Chicken biryani was ok. I selected hot spice level and it wasn't that. Looks like they missed it which isn't ideal considering the price.
Chicken tikka tastes really good but again considering price the quantity was quite low and I'm sure there are probably better options out there."

"We loved it! The Gobi Manchurian has actual large crunchy cauliflower pieces. The momo are a generous size. Mango Lassi was thick and full of mango. And the Samosa were good too, a nice crispy dough that stayed crispy for a surprisingly long time."
"The Chicken Biryani was amazing. Great flavor! I got it spicy--which is spicier than you usually get in this area---so I will definitely get it again. But for the whole Bay Area, I'd say the spicy was more like medium spicy. The Dahi Puri was also really good! My only request would be for more of the green/brown sauces included in the to-go. So happy I found this place. Definitely order from here! "

"I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala Lunch Combo. The flavor of the tikka masala was good, but I wasn't expecting disappointed by the amount of rice it came with. I've been to other places that offer more rice for a lesser cost. Also, I am not sure of the chickpea side that came with it but it was too spicy and threw off the flavor for me. "Varam is a new Indian place, haven't tried in person, but just tried on Door dash for the first time. I ordered two Biryanis and loved them both! The Golconda Kofta Biryani is amazing! This biryani had minced goat koftas shaped around a hard boiled egg (think Scotch eggs, if you don't know what a kofta is). The kofta is pretty large and you get two kofte in the dish. The biryani was very flavorful and also spicy, and the minced goat was incredibly delicious and tender. Loved it, will definitely order again. The Potlam Chicken Biryani was also super delicious, it's an egg-wrapped biryani with spicy boneless chicken pieces. Also very good, the chicken was tender and juicy. Will be ordering both of these dishes again!"
"Ordered the MPLR (Boneless) Chicken Biryani again and loved it as usual. This is now my fave go-to Bay Area Biryani order. The quality is always consistently excellent, the biryani is always flavorful and fresh, the portion size is perfect, the amount of chicken vs. rice is well-balanced, and they give you a very good amount of chicken. This is what I order if I'm working late or don't want to cook at home. I am always happy and satisfied when I order this dish, and wouldn't change anything about it."

"not necessarily a thumbs up, more neutral. I ordered butter chicken pizza with regular crust, it's tastes like a curry chicken pizza. Good think I like curry flavor. It's salty, I guess the thickish crust offsets this but if there's a next time, I'll try a thin crust because the pizza has a lot of crust which might be fine for some but not my preference. I would have like more cheese (scant amount), onions. Overall a dry pizza. Chicken wings with mango habanero - not a fan of the mango habanero, but that's my personal preference. The wings have soggy skin. I think if you're going to leave skin on chicken at least make it crispy. I paid extra for a side of jalapeños which were omitted from the order and instead a sauce that I didn't want nor like. Maybe I'll try their pizza again but not in a hurry. "

"this was a scam. it came in Urban Momo packaging and looked absolutely nothing like the advertised images. the Gobi Manchurian Wrap was ridiculous. giant naan with tons of rice just thrown in with extremely soggy gobi. Priyanka stores is not real from what I can tell"

"I've tried a lot of KFC in the area and this, by far, is the tastiest. The original flavor is hard to beat and I have tried the others. IMO The breading on the wings and drums is better than the bigger drumsticks. Recently had the japchae and it's quite delicious minus the minor critique that the noodles clump together. "
"The fried rice with pork belly was pretty basic and not a lot of food for $21. The wings and drumsticks had very little sauce (the half that should have had the saude) and left us wanting more sauce on the side or on the chicken. The texture of the double fried chicken was good but everything else seemed not worth it."

"The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was delicious! Definitely will be ordering again. The hot and Sichuan Hot & Spicy Dumpling were also super tasty. I really like that the chili and the sauce for the dumplings was put on the side and not mixed in. I was able to heat it up and add the chili oil to my liking."

"Crispy Vegetable Samosas : Flaky and flavorful, and not as oily as many other Indian restaurants or eateries. I like it very much!
Dal Soup : Excellent flavor. Enjoyed it a lot.
Vegan Dumplings (Momo): Great texture of the veggies and the flour skin and very good red and orange sauces.
Overall, a pleasant surprise. I would give this place a solid 5/5, and am a little saddened by their current score of 4/5. Will definitely order more! "

"Well worth the money, Jumbo Tandoori Legs (2pcs) was very good not dry but perfect. And the Lamb Plate(Naan&Rice) was very filling. Lamb also was cooked perfect. I wont be ordering next time but i will be dining in this place. Its a must try on door dash. "
"Very salty and watery. I've never had Butter Chicken or Chicken Tikka Masala that's watery like this. They also don't include rice so you have to order it as a side which is fine but it was $6 so I assumed the side would be enough for 2-3 people but it was just a small container. Chinese restaurants only charge $2 for the same size. What a rip off. And the Raita was absolutely horrible."
