"Really disappointed with this biryani. The masala was way overpowering โ completely drowned out any actual flavor of the rice or meat, just an overwhelming punch of spice with no balance. The meat itself was the bigger issue though โ it had an off, stale smell that put me off eating more than a few bites. Definitely didn't taste fresh.
On top of that, this didn't look anything like a proper dum biryani. No visible layering, no signature aroma or texture you'd expect from something actually cooked on dum โ just looked like regular masala rice mixed with meat. "I ordered the chole bhature and was really disappointed. The chole were nothing like traditional chole, which are usually thick and dry. Instead, they were watery, almost like a curry, and it felt like someone had just added water. The taste reminded me of food from a railway station rather than a proper restaurant.
The bhature were actually goodโsoft, fresh, and much better than the chole. However, the onion pickle was also disappointing. It is usually served with a nice red colour, but this one was orange and didnโt look very appealing.
The only thing that really stood out was the salted lassi. It was perfectly made, refreshing, and easily the best part of the meal.
Overall, I wouldnโt recommend the chole bhature. The bhature and lassi were decent, but the chole let the whole dish down."
