It's not spicy at all and very bland which some people like. I am not one of those people. My fiance said the mexican pizza was ok. He would order it again, but wouldnt pick this spot over the countless others in the area. My chimichanga didnt come with rice and beans like the pictures show. I paid $20 for my chimi, which consisted of unseasoned beef, flour tortilla, red and green sauce and a dollop of sour cream. Paid an extra $5 for some hot sauce. To be fair, the actual description didnt say it came with those things, i was going off of pictures and price and assumed what was pictured was included. The red and green sauces were very gelatinous and had no flavor at all. Like instead of reducing the sauce they just tossed in a thickener and called it done. The hot sauce was good! I dumped the whole container on the chimi and that made it flavorful enough. I would say give them a try, as they are a small local business. We could have caught them on a bad night, or they just arent what we prefer and you might really like them! I would definitely recommend going to the location for chips and salsa and cocktails as the hot salsa was really good. "

"I recently wrote a bad review of this store based upon the way taco's are priced on the menu. Menu asks if i'd like to add things like lettuce and cheese. It didnt say "extra" but rather "add". In any event the tacos come with ample lettuce and cheese so no reason to add, and really no room for, extra cheese and lettuce. My machaca and green burro were both delicious and generously sized, which has been a problem at other store locations. This store gives you your money's worth and doesnt try to scrimp on the portion size. All in all they merit a 5 star review and my bad for dogging them before my food arrived"

"first there were no errors in the order, so that's a big plus. everything ordered arrived, including the utensils. more than 10 years ago I would go to macayo's for the Baja tamales. they don't seem to be on the menu anymore but the tamale-bites appetizer sufficed -- pretty amazing and probably addicting because of the crispy outside and soft tamale inside and the baja sauce. as a surprise I got chips and salsa with the order, and one reason it was so perfect is the large cup of salsa that was included was not some little tiny vial that you could fill up with four quarters. if you're going to serve salsa with a sack of chips, make sure there's enough of it! that's what macayo's has done here so i appreciate that they know what they're doing."
