Today, I am specifically impressed with the extra effort it took to hand-label my bagels, and the customized hand-drawn pumpkin for the limited fall bagel is appreciated. I frequently order this cafe's food for my sensory-sensitive children, and they have never had a complaint. The avocado toast is wonderfully loaded with feta cheese, a topping that competitors tend to skimp on. The coffee customizations are impressive. This cafe allows you to add spices, supplements, and mushroom varieties to your smoothies and Cold Brew Coffee. I actually ran out of space for photographing what I'd like to include for this review. I LOVED the oxtails (med/small cuts but plenty), the Mac was doable, the collards were sweet and not my speed at all (especially when the picture showed cabbage....), and the beef patty was doable as well. I have been shaking like a crackhead ready for my next order.... just to be bamboozled lol. 2nd order (today). I got the Oxtail Large, Fried Corn Small, and a small Mac. The oxtails were a joke. It looks like they cut each oxtail into multiple mini segments. I actually got less than I got with my med plate. . I should've taken a picture but I was so shocked I had to literally go back to find a pic from my first order before I did this review out of false anger. But nope. Anger valid. Spent $60 both trips. I can't say I regret the experience but it likely ends here. $60 for a plate stuffed with mainly rice and cabbage, the wrong side (first the cabbage/collards. Today I ordered Mac again and got Rasta pasta since they were out. I ordered before they were even open lol and scheduled it.). Rasta pasta wasn't bad but not my speed. Fried corn wasn't bad but not worth $5. Cabbage was good. Oxtails good ofcourse. I'm just thinking they load you up with a good plate to get your attention and then change from there."
