"Only included 2 out of 4 items we ordered. Called them and was informed that they forgot to include them (which is ok people make mistakes). I asked for my money back, but was told they couldn't refund me and that I had to drive and pick up the rest of my order. Once I arrived they had my food ready but didn't include crackers for my ceviche. I asked for some and was given attitude by the waitress. Agua chile was not the best it was lacking spice/chile. The shrimp in the ceviche weren't properly deveined almost all had veins intact. It's a shame this was our favorite restaurant for agua chile, but after this experience not sure I would want to go back. "

The flavors themselves were decent, but the presentation and temperature took away from the experience—it arrived lukewarm and a bit messy, which made it less enjoyable than it could have been. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not the kind of meal that leaves a lasting impression. That being said, for the price point, the meal still carried good value for its portion. Vallarta clearly uses fresh ingredients, but there’s room for improvement in execution and consistency. I would give it try and order again some time later down the road."
