"cold mac and cheese that looks and tastes like it was made with cheap low quality, processed cheese (think velveeta) and an awkward choice of penne pasta. huge chunks of unevenly-cut carrots in the oxtail stew. stems of thyme left with the thick woody inedible part of the herb inside the oxtail gravy. (stripping off the fresh leaves is a better practice). chewy and not tender oxtail meat itself, that was poorly trimmed and still very fatty/flabby. served a small portion of meat (literally only 2 bones) for a $30 plate is wild. gross potato salad. rum cake was dense and gummy. not flavourful. but too wet and sticky and too dry in the middle. rather embarrassing to the actual Caribbean standard."
