"I never write reviews, but this is THE BEST "build your own poke" place in the area, and probably that I've ever ordered from. At this point, my body is like 90% poke. I work in Times Square and my go-to office dinner is a poke bowl, because it's the easiest thing to eat when you've been staring at a screen for 12 hours and have lost your will to live. At this point, I've probably ordered from every poke bowl option in Midtown, and trust me - those places do not care. Spring mix is wilted that day? Fish still frozen? You get what you get. I have now ordered from Suka twice, on days when I don't make the soul-crushing commute to the city, and frankly I'm shocked. I didn't know poke could be done so well. Suka Poke is a magical land where every avocado and mango is always perfectly ripe. Every piece of fish is the ideal size, shape, and freshness (unlike some of the NYC spots that apparently prep by putting a whole salmon through the shredder). Suka's cucumbers are peeled and deseeded! I've eaten at Michelin starred restaurants that don't put this much care into their food. The portions are generous and, even more importantly, the ingredient ratios are correct. I've never written a review on DoorDash before, and I have no idea if people read these, but if you do, please support this place! It is a gem. Maybe this is the mercury poisoning from my excessive raw tuna consumption speaking, but I wish I could quit my job and just eat here every day."

For spending $30+ it's the most disappointing meal I got from a Pho restaurant. I would definitely not recommend this place. "I had a very disappointing and honestly disturbing experience at this restaurant. I was served a glass of water that had a bright pink lipstick stain around the rim, clearly someone else’s. This is a serious sanitation issue and completely unacceptable. I brought it to the waiter’s attention and asked if they could speak to the owner about offering a discount for the inconvenience. When the check came back, it was $65 with only a $6 discount, which did not reflect the severity of the issue. I then spoke to the owner directly, hoping for a more reasonable resolution. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner was extremely rude. She threw my card at me and told me I should leave. When I tried to calmly ask why she was behaving that way, she ignored me and continued with an attitude. What made it worse is that she never even apologized for the fact that I was served a dirty glass. I’ve been to this restaurant many times before and would have been willing to overlook the mistake if they had simply shown proper customer service, a sincere apology and a fair resolution. Instead, I was treated disrespectfully for raising a legitimate health concern. I will never return, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Cleanliness and basic respect for customers should be the bare minimum."

I was very disappointed. 1) The Fish Sandwich , was a little too salty, they put the tarter sauce on the sandwich, with tomatoes, and a sesame seed bun. problem, I don't eat seeds, tomatoes, I would have preferred to put on my own tartar sauce. 2) Lima Bean , I'm a soup lover and I really wanted to try the soup. Another let down, they did not say what was in the soup. Pork neck bones, and the taste was weird, so I poured the soup in my pot and added chicken bullion and let it cook a little more, no it still tasted weird, I ended throwing it out. 3) Hush Puppies (7 Pieces) , I love hushpuppies, the hushpuppies wasn't right, again very disappointing. They tasted more like cornbread, no taste of onions, they weren't crispy 4) The Peach Cobbler, it wasn't homemade, so after all the disappointments, I put it in my refrigerator. Not going back $31."
