"I live in Lorain and it said up to an hour for delivery so I was a little nervous but I'm actually quite impressed. I've never visited this place before but love trying new places and their food. I've seen The Kitchen on DoorDash before and finally talked myself into trying it this time. The Cook's Sandwich was super big and super good! When I opened the lid and saw the size of this sandwich I thought 'Wow!' The sausage is a hand smashed patty instead of an already processed patty which I love. The cheese is fresh and the egg was perfect! I also got their biscuits and gravy and I have to say, probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had from a restaurant. You can tell the biscuits and the gravy is made from scratch and not from a can. The biscuits have grill marks which I actually love. The grill adds not just a nice looking to the biscuits but gives them that nice crunch on the outside while keeping them soft on the inside and the gravy had amazing flavor. I actually used the rest of the gravy on my potatoes lol. Because of how long it said delivery would be I was worried it'd be cold when it got to me but it was still piping hot which really surprised me and I very much appreciated that! I will definitely be ordering from here again! I can't wait to try something new next time!"

"I LOVE the kitchen for breakfast/brunch. I had been a door dasher for 2 years from 2021-2023 and went into the restaraunt once in a while to pick up food. I just loved the atmosphere, it smelled great everytime & the people working were nice, so and so I checked out their website for their menu. Everything is fairly priced for what you get portion wise, and they also have secrets on their website door dash doesn't mention. Like for instance I'm sure you're wondering why my pic of their stuffed French toast is diffrent than the description. They only show one of the 4 kinds you can order on door dash which is the berry one. Yes, They have the berry one you always see, but you can ask for "Nutella and banana stuffed" (which is what I got today) "the berries" "banana cream pie", or "coconut cream pie" stuffed. You just ask for the change in the special requests when u order it and they happily changed it the last two times i ordered, ( I got banana cream pie last time)."

"I ordered a Coke and an entree of Buffalo Chicken Dip. The coke I'd rate a 3/5 with 2 points taken off for cost to size ratio. It cost me $3.25 for what looks like about 12 oz of drink. If it's 16oz then I'm wrong on size but I stand by my cost to portion statement. The 3 points are because it's coca cola and it taste great. The Buffalo Chicken Dip is a big miss. I'd rate it 1/5. The 1 point is that there is at least a heat level. The pita was really good but we're focused on the dip and not what is used to dip into it. The viscosity on a scale of 1 to 5 from thin to thick would be 1.5. The main ingredient seems to be chunked tomato for some reason. The onions added a bit of chunk but I really never tasted the chicken. It was also cubed and not shredded. Mix all of this together and it's a sloppy mess of slightly spicy tomato that crunches while what chicken did make it in slides right off the pita as this seems almost like a soup more than a dip. Everything was fresh and I'd order from here again. I just would not order either of these items."
