The lettuce was rusty colored half shredded half tore which led me to believe it came from various places? There were two slices of cucumber that looked old and mushy. There were three tiny grape tomatoes, which were oranges and shriveled. And three huge slices of sweet pepper that I had to take out of the bowl and cut into bite side pieces myself. I had to replace the lettuce that came with a salad with lettuce from my fridge. I had to add cucumbers. I had to replace swiss cheese with mozzarella cheese. Who puts sliced Swiss cheese on a steak salad? Doesn't make sense & does not go together. This was a huge disappointment. Between the lack of steak in the salad and the old dried up discolored vegetables, I will never never order a salad from the maple again."

The Meltdown

"Really great! The sandwich bread was toasted and didn't get moist or soggy on the way to the hotel. The meat was delicious and tasted home cooked. The French Fries were PERFECTLY crisp. The seasonal fruit was extremely fresh and flavorful. I only was able to eat half of the sandwich because it was so filling. I will definitely be having the other half for breakfast. "

"Over all very disappointing across the board. The kid's grilled cheese is actually only 1/2 of a sandwich. That's fine since it's for kids, but the chess wasn't fully melted. The giddy up melt was horrible. I requested no pickles and it was covered with them. It was supposed to have BBQ sauce on it, but that was missing and it really needed it. The meat was very fatty - almost inedible. And lastly, I didn't realize it came with a cucumber salad, but it did however there weren't actually ANY cucumbers in it!! Lastly was the dessert. The description specifically said 'fresh' strawberries. You can tell frozen strawberries by the color and texture - and I am pretty sure that is what was on the dessert. It didn't taste bad, but there wasn't nearly enough cheesecake filling and I'm not a fan of frozen strawberries. I would not recommend this place. "

"My husband and I have been eating there for 15 years and the quality of the food is top-notch. Sushi at Ichiban is always excellent. The Pink Lady Roll is one of my favorites and I also got a Philadelphia Roll. My husband got a Tuna Roll, a Yellowtail Roll, a Salmon Roll, and a Spicy Tuna Roll. Even though they are basic Maki, they were terrific as usual. Appetizers are another story. The Pork Gyoza use a different dough than they used to; it's thinner and doesn't taste exactly right. It tastes like Shumai without the shrimp. The Crab Rangoon leaves a lot to be desired -- mostly fried dough and a tiny little dollop of crab-flavored cream cheese in the middle. Not worth $10. The Kani Salad however was excellent! First time I've had it and I'll definitely get it again. Overall, a bit pricey for sushi but quality was excellent, as always. "

"I paid $95 for an order to come with 2 ramekins of yum yum sauce and no brown sauce. That's absolutely ridiculous. I will never be ordering from here again. In what world is a $95 order with extra orders of noodles, veggies and chicken only allotted 2 sides of sauce and not even the other sauce that comes with the meal. Not to mention I ordered the filet medium rare it was well done at best and the lobster was tougher than a 2 dollar steak. It's not that I expected perfection for a delivery order like this, but at least give a fair amount of sauce and the food shouldn't be terrible I'm literally 5 mins from there and paid for the luxury of not going out. Also the only chicken was in the side order my main didn't come with any. Do yourself a favor and do not order anything to go from here. Salad was good and came with the delicious ginger dressing which was the only redeeming thing about this meal."
