"Varam is a new Indian place, haven't tried in person, but just tried on Door dash for the first time. I ordered two Biryanis and loved them both! The Golconda Kofta Biryani is amazing! This biryani had minced goat koftas shaped around a hard boiled egg (think Scotch eggs, if you don't know what a kofta is). The kofta is pretty large and you get two kofte in the dish. The biryani was very flavorful and also spicy, and the minced goat was incredibly delicious and tender. Loved it, will definitely order again. The Potlam Chicken Biryani was also super delicious, it's an egg-wrapped biryani with spicy boneless chicken pieces. Also very good, the chicken was tender and juicy. Will be ordering both of these dishes again!"

"I tried the Shrimp Biryani, Chicken 65 Bezule, Garlic Naan, and in a previous order, I tried the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. Everything except the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani was very, very good. All dishes tasted very flavorful, and fresh. Portion sizes were also very good. They were all very spicy. The chicken Chicken 65 Bezule and shrimp in the Shrimp Biryani were juicy and delicious, and chicken bezule pairs very well with Garlic Naan. The only BIG disappointment was the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. It was extremely dry, completely flavorless, and lacked salt. All the other dishes I've tried at this restaurant are so good, I would recommend the chef to rework the Chicken Dum Biryani. Hard to believe it was so disappointing. I've never had raita like that. It almost tastes like Dahi Bhalle without the bhalle. The food more than Justifies its price. "This is my second review because DD won't let me edit my first one. We have ordered several times since my original review and the food is consistently amazing!! This time I ordered the butter chicken and it was SO DELICIOUS!!! The flavor is incredible and the level of spice was perfect for me. I was able to request the level of spice and they were very accommodating. I'm so grateful for that! This is possibly my favorite restaurant now. :) The other place I liked was always a little too spicy for me. My partner ordered the Matar Paneer as he is a vegetarian and he loved that as well! "I decided to try the Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Butter Chicken to see what my family would like best. We always order the Tikka Chicken Tikka Masala, and its still our favorite. However, the other two are delicious. CTM is the sweetest, the CK is the richest and least sweet (more savory), and the BC is right in the middle but not sweet. The Beef Samosa is delicious as always, but I tasted a raisin for the first time (not fond of raisins with savory meals, but it is still delicious). The beef samosas are spicy. The rice was very fresh and delicious, the restaurant was great, and followed all my 'asks,' written in my comments. The Kheer dessert and the Gulab Jamun mixed together are amazing. The kids loved their mango lassis. Success once again, we will definitely order again. Garlic Naan fantastic as well. "

Calamari Pakoras were unusual and very satisfying. Kabuli Naan was also good - a bit decadent, sweet flatbread - as was the Nimbo Pani, which was lemonade plus a bit of proprietary flavouring. Big kudos for Chicken Salad, which is a nice fresh greens salad with a packet of tandoori chicken bites you mix in to keep from getting bored. I loved it all, can heartily recommend and will return myself."
