"The food was absolutely delicious—exactly what I was hoping for! The portions were generous, and I even had plenty of leftovers. The spice level was perfect, flavorful without being overwhelming. My only small critique is that the online ordering system doesn’t have a section for special requests (like asking for chili oil). I had to call the restaurant to add that in, but they were kind enough to accommodate. The rice tasted okay but I found that the chicken had a weird aftertaste and just tasted like it was too greasy. The crab Rangoons were not very good either but tasted alright with the duck sauce. The worst was the broccoli that was swimming in an overly spicy sauce. Also, broccoli from other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to has always been softer and tender, but this broccoli was too hard almost like it was not cooked properly. The little flavor it had was overpowered by the sauce. I ended up throwing away almost the entire thing and never finished the chicken. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant at all if you want a nice meal. For the quality of the food it is overpriced. "

"In my Sake Don , there was a lemon slice on top of the sashimi. The acidity cooked the salmon a little and made the fish sour. The slices are very thin so it's especially noticeable. The furikake in the sushi rice made it sweeter than I'd like, and the mix of the seaweed and pickled vegetables made the whole bowl smell somewhat funky. There was a massive amount of raw, shredded carrot underneath the sashimi to give volume to the Sake Don . I didn't eat that. I try sake dons very frequently from several local restaurants, and I'm afraid this was my least likeable one yet."

"General Gao's Chicken was so spicy it was inedible and had to be thrown away. I requested "No Spicy", but request was completely ignored. The chicken was so tough we couldn't easily cut it. The broccoli consisted of 2 (two) florets. The worst Chinese meal we've ever had. We won't order from Yunnan Kitchen again. A waste of $46.00."

Boneless Spare Ribs are my favorite so I add those, but they're a bit pricey compared to the meals so I recommend getting them as part of a meal for cost saving. They did forget to add a utensil this time, but they did remember the sauces."
