"One of the beter options in the area! The food we tried was all delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We ordered the crispy chicken pad thai, veg fried rice, and spring rolls. Also we didn't have to wait long at all! We will definitely be ordering again in the future!"

"We had high hopes but were disappointed. Unfortunately the dishes we ordered did not taste very authentic. We received small portions of each dish and extremely watery duck curry. The worst part was that there was hardly any of the watery curry to go on our big portions of white rice. The crispy chicken on top of the Pad Thai tasted like Chinese restaurant chicken fingers and even came with what tasted like duck sauce. The best parts of the meal were the duck meat and crispy pork. Although, the spicy basil dish tastes exactly the same as the crispy pork and bok choy dish when you choose crispy pork option for your meat, so I'd choose a ground meat to go with it. The tom kha was decent but a little too sweet instead of savory. The chicken meat was a little dry/overcooked. Definitely not worth the $100 price tag when you order 4 dishes from here."

"I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to this time. The Braised Pork and Rice (Khoa Ka Moo) is the best I have tasted in a long, long time. Bone marrow? Check. Perfectly tender pork skin? Check. Meat marinated to perfection? Check! And the rice was perfect. With a dish like this, the rice can make or break it, because you can't really eat the pork without it. It's one of those basic thing that so many places screw up because it's hard to care about repetitive, simple things. Sokitchen cares, you can taste it. I have eaten many braise pork dishes, and this one feels like a fabled old family recipe. It might not be, but as I inhaled this dish, I could not help but imagine some grandmother smiling down on soKitchen from above. This is food at its best, I will be back for more. (Dumplings were serviceable, nothing to write home about. Get them if you are craving some, but not my favorite)"

The Papaya Salad was very plentiful - except that it had ONLY TWO (2) shrimp!! Otherwise it was ok - but I guess I missed tomatoes & green beans being part of it - yuck. The Tod Mun looked just as advertised - but it was VERY SPONGY & very bland. The dipping sauce was tasty & helped a bit. The Mango & Sticky Rice was very good & a nice portion. Hard to mess up. But - my BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that there were NO UTENSILS in the bag with the food!! How was I expected to eat it?!? "The Druken Noodles- spicy and the N2. Basil Pad Thai - Spicy are so good! In my opinion, they could be spicier, but very flavorful. I usually opt for the crispy chicken; they package it separately so it comes extra crispy and it must be an entire chicken breast bec the potion is always huge. Even the individual sauces come in heat-sealed wrapping so don't make a mess. The A16. Scallion Pancake is delicious, especially the black sauce; again they stuff the box to the brim with flaky goodness. The fried calamari is also really fresh, but a comparatively smaller portion. Did I mention the food always comes so fast? Add in the discount and I eat here at least once a week!"

"Thai Cafe is great! I've been ordering here over the past few months. The food is always consistent and carefully packed. I really love the Tom Kha soup with shrimp....with a nice balance between the galangal/lemongrass and the coconut milk. Other Thai restaurants in Cambridge/Boston use way too much coconut milk. The salads are extremely fresh and the sautéed dishes are just right with the perfect addition of the sauces...not overpowering. One of my favorites is the Chef's Special with chicken and garlic....also very healthy since it is served over salad. Highly recommended restaurant!"

"The Thai Iced Tea is incredible.. Refreshing, fairly priced compared to other cafes/restaurants in the Lynn/Swampscott area. Just don't drink it before bed, it's got caffeine. Even so, sometimes I do because it's THAT delicious. Reasonably sized tea, as well."
