"I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to this time. The Braised Pork and Rice (Khoa Ka Moo) is the best I have tasted in a long, long time. Bone marrow? Check. Perfectly tender pork skin? Check. Meat marinated to perfection? Check! And the rice was perfect. With a dish like this, the rice can make or break it, because you can't really eat the pork without it. It's one of those basic thing that so many places screw up because it's hard to care about repetitive, simple things. Sokitchen cares, you can taste it. "I ordered General Gau chicken, crab Rangoons, and broccoli with garlic sauce. I was impressed with the portion sizes but the food was very mediocre. The rice tasted okay but I found that the chicken had a weird aftertaste and just tasted like it was too greasy. The crab Rangoons were not very good either but tasted alright with the duck sauce. The worst was the broccoli that was swimming in an overly spicy sauce. Also, broccoli from other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to has always been softer and tender, but this broccoli was too hard almost like it was not cooked properly. The little flavor it had was overpowered by the sauce. I ended up throwing away almost the entire thing and never finished the chicken. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant at all if you want a nice meal. For the quality of the food it is overpriced. "
