Then one very cold day recently I had a hankering for pancakes and bacon, but not for leaving a nice warm house, and so I ordered thru DoorDash. I like my meals just so, and gave them very specific instructions on preparation. When the order arrived I immediately saw that this place is not your average joint. They followed my instructions precisely - bacon arrived extra crisp and extra dry; pancakes without powdered sugar. Both were great - bacon as good or better than any I've had on the Cape, pancakes prepared the right way - fluffy, cooked just right. (Most places don't know how to make pancakes.) Buttercup is now one of my restaurant regulars. Very highly recommended. "
