We ordered beef pad thai 4 star spicy with extra egg, tofu pad thai 4 star spicy with extra egg, thai fried rice with beef 3 star spicy, steamed chicken dumplings, thai tea. Chicken dumplings and thai tea were good. No complaints there. As for the pad thai and rice, despite choosing spicier options, they were the most mild thai dishes I have ever had. Absolutely no spice, let alone any distinguishing flavor. Pad thai was also quite dry. The only seasonings I could taste in the thai fried rice were salt, pepper, and garlic. Again, no spice at all despite asking for 3 star spice. I also asked them to only add carrots and onions in the rice, no other veggies. They still added huge slices of cucumber and tomato on top, so one of us couldn't eat it anymore due to sensitivity to tomato. The food absolutely did not feel nor taste like it was worth $20+ per entree. There are better thai restaurants around for the same or even cheaper price with better tasting dishes. I had high expectations, but this place just did not meet the cut. I was hoping to find a new thai place to add to my list of favorites, but oh well, will keep searching."

First, the not-so-good: the Duck Pappardelle was heavy, and it wasn't clear from the description that the Duck would be shredded and, unfortunately, overcooked. And the main line roll that was part of the Signature Sushi Platter was mealy and unappetizing. But everything else was absolutely spectacular. The Spicy Salmon Canape was inspired, as was the Kanpachi Crudo. The nigiri that were part of the Signature Sushi Platter were executed flawlessly. And both the Temaki Trio and the Pork Gyoza were excellent."

"On recommendation by friends, this was my first time eating from 'China House,' (one of at least three restaurants using the same name) which was confusing. I'm delighted to have used this one, as the food was delicious, particularly the MF 5. Singapore Mei Fun and R 8. House Special Fried Rice, both with generously-loaded with shrimp, chicken, and pork, among other ingredients. While the Mei Fun was good 'n spicy, the chef made it perfectly without dumping in a bucket of curry, making you thirsty all night long. The SO 5. Hot & Sour Soup was well-spiced, with a rich, brown (beef?) broth, ample-bodied with tofu, shoots, shitaki mushrooms, and who knows what-else, to shake the taste buds awake!! To calm things down, don't overlook the add-on dessert menu, which features ice cream from Dream Factory or Fantasy(? ), which isn't included on Door-Dash's online menu.
