"Everything I tried was fantastic. The only note I have is that the black beans had a lot of peppers in them that I wasn't crazy about. The grilled chicken and fire roasted corn were very flavorful. The chicken tender was perfect. And the white lightning sauce is one of the closest to the original white BBQ sauce I've had outside of Morgan county. Highly recommend, will be eating here again."

"Amazing service as always. The Chicken Korma is so good! The mint chutney takes everything to the top. The lunch buffet is a blessing to Birmingham. All you can eat for $13 - or you can get buffet to go if you like. Only problem is the to-go orders aren't always consistent in portion size. I got a ton of Chicken Korma the first time with a small container of rice. I got a small portion of Chicken Korma this time with a ton of rice that included peas and cumin seeds - best rice I've ever had. Taj is that place where you're not even mad because the food hits like they know what you need better than you do. I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday dinner :)"

They even called me and asked if I wanted drinks and I appreciated that but I even repeated the order to them at that time before they left the restaurant. The one chicken basket we did get had 9 French fries and 3 of the smallest chicken fingers I've ever seen. Like those 3 would make up 1 normal size chicken finger. For a meal that cost over 7 $'s I would think you'd get a little more. Also everything was cold. This is the first 1 star I've ever given"

"The Double Decker Omelette was right on point. Just what I expected. The French Toast are a nice size, but they forgot to put my powdered sugar on them. Both were still hot upon arrival. My biscuit is nice and fluffy. Cheese grits looks good, haven't tried them just yet."

"The pork sausage was of poor quality and bland. The grits were very lumpy and coarse in texture. The biscuit was just a regular frozen dough biscuit you get from the grocery store. The eggs were not cracked fresh eggs. They were the liquid container eggs. I requested American cheese and they used Cheddar cheese. The only item I liked was the hash brown casserole and it tasted amazing. "
