Despite immense competition in Mexican fare, including literally across the street from an unnamed far newer vendor, Paraiso is a neighborhood institution which always delivers no matter core Mexican fare or newer fare like breakfast (a recent trend among Hispanic places) or American stalwarts (beefsteaks, sandwiches, etc. sort of bodega-like).
