"the restaurant failed to include plastic utensils and that's always disappointing considering I requested them and I'm staying at a hotel. Mutter Paneer was quite good and tasty although I'm disappointed that there was no option to alter my spice level. other Indian restaurants always give the option of how spicy we'd like our meals to be. usually it's on a scale from 1 to 10 and other times it's on a scale from not spicy to very spicy. The Mutter Paneer came with a good amount of Indian cheese and peas and it also included rice."

"The Kothu Parotta and the Masala Dosa were absolutely delicious- they're always our go to orders when are at Amma's/get takeout from them . Flavorful and filling. The Masala Dosa is definitely better served at the restaurant because the filling is kept separate from the dosa and after delivery time, the dosa is not as warm. Still, flavors are great. The Rasamalai was tasty but portions were small (only 3 pieces) and overpriced, texture of the cheese was denser than I've had at other places but still great. The Tamarind Fish curry (Meen Kulambu) was sweet, nice to try but not necessarily something I would order again. Overall I love Amma's- my favorite Indian spot in Philly. "

I had a dish with lamb, chicken, and shrimp, all of which cook differently, all were perfect. Even the rice. The naan wasnt just tossed in, but was baked and seasoned perfectly. I'm impressed"

Paneer tikka Masala tasted sweet (but this seems to be common with Indian restaurants in Philly, never had that elsewhere). Cheese Naan was also good. I like that everything in the menu was labeled as vegan/vegetarian where applicable. They also labeled containers with people's initials which was a nice touch and made it easy to dole out everyone's orders. "

"Ordered a C5 Chicken Tikka Masla and Tandoori Rotti i. The chicken was delicious, but unfortunately, it was excessively oily, making the overall dish too greasy compared to other Indian restaurants. Additionally, the Tandoori Roti seemed to be made with more white flour than wheat flour, which I didn't enjoy, and it too was overly oily.
In another separate order, we tried the Navratan Korma, which was also excessively greasy. I wish they would use less oil in their cooking; I prioritize both taste and health when dining out. It's a good restaurant to eat in if you just care about the taste."
