The bagel was also stale and not toasted as requested (which I think would have fixed the staleness a lot lol). The bagels are…you know, good. Chewy-ish. Browned enough. In Philly terms, this is upper tier. In New York or North Jersey terms, it’s a nice roll cosplaying as a bagel.
In spite of or perhaps pursuant to my doughy doubt, I expect a generous, unapologetic slab of cream cheese—the kind that threatens structural integrity. Instead, the epilayer I received barely tested load-bearing capacity. Enough to let you know it exists, but not enough to emotionally commit. Along with the ambitious pricing, I am reminded of a tepid ex-relationship fueled by convenience rather than emotional satisfaction or financial prudence.
All that said: for Philly? Solid. Dependable. And the Cappucino hit the spot."

"The cheese on the Cheddar Cheese Egg Sandwich wasn't melted, but it still tasted pretty good. I'm not sure why this simple cheap sandwich is $8.
The Strawberry & Cream Strudel looks nothing like the picture. It looks more like the ones sold at BJs or Acme sold for $3/4 bucks for a box of 20. I was expecting a warm fresh baked flakey pastry with a goey inside. This one feels hard, and its covered in sugar crystals with a braided design. They should update their website picture.
The Iced Chai Tea Latte has a weird mustard taste to it for some reason, and is more expensive than one from starbucks.

Absolutely loved the crisp, flaky layers of the FWB - CroiCinnamon Bun and the rich, complex flavors of the Au Fournil - Almond Tart

Was underwhelmed by the FWB - Morning Bun and the Au Fournil - Beignet and I've eaten at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans enough times to know how good, authentic beignets are supposed to taste. Their version of a "beignet" was a donut, full stop.
