"My first reaction when I saw my regular Regular Bowl was simply, "Wow!" In typical Hawaiian style, the portion was huge! But quality is more important than quantity, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch! I got hamachi and tuna as my proteins and the fish was absolutely fresh. The hamachi was buttery and the tuna was nice and meaty, both devoid of that fishy taste. As for the other ingredients, I love how they included big chunks of tofu, and the veggies were nice and crunchy. The rice was perfect! This is how a poke bowl should be!"

"The French fries were old and full of grease. This usually happens when the grease isn't hot enough. In this case,I think the fries were left over from lunch. The meat for the OG Philly was dry. For$21, the wings should be fresh and not have wrinkle skin and dry. I think the wings were also left over from lunch, and the kitchen brushed sauce on the wings to hide the fact they're old. The bread pudding was good. But they forgot to add the cream. We have ordered takeout from Refuge in the past. I have never been disappointed until today. It's clear the manager isn't doing a quality check. This food should have never left the kitchen."

"The Lamb (6) dumplings are very good, they have a unique flavor and are juicy inside. They are large and can fall apart, so use your fork. The Soup Kharcho is a hearty, filling, standard beef stew with spices and the oil drippings on top, with the lamb meat at the bottom. The Turkish Coffee came in a small plastic childrens cup with an animals theme, and tasted like regular black drip coffee (americano). The Natural Georgian Soda is "Zedazeni" and is a flavorful and interesting drink. It definitely tastes like tarragon, the flavor I selected. Tarragon seemed to he the theme of all the restaurant, so I chose it. Tastes comparable to anise or licorice. It tastes good if you are willing to try something new. The portions of everything except the coffee are large, but turkish coffee is more like a shot glass size traditionally, anyway. I would compare this cuisine to family-Italian cuisine, but with a unique regional aspect."

Very very disappointed in portions. I had to call the restaurant to make sure this wasn't kids portion. The already small trays weren't even filled. She said that was same portions in restaurant which is unbelievable. As much as I love supporting local businesses, I will not be returning here."
