"I love the Crab Meat and Tomato Noodle Soup! It's a little different from other Vietnamese restaurants. It comes with shrimp paste which gives it an extra umami taste. It's flavorful broth that I just can't get enough of. Five Spice Chicken and Pate is good but I think the filling to bread ratio is a little off. It could use more meat but I love the bread they use. It's not so hard where it hurts the roof of my mouth. I like Combination Ham and Pate a lot more but I feel the same that it could use more meat to even out the filling to bread ratio. This might be my new go to spot for pho!"

The grilled pork wasn’t very good quality meat and sliced too thin so it was dry. There was barely enough sauce and no herbs so the flavor overall was lacking. I also paid an extra $1.50 to add eggrolls. It was just 1 pretty small egg roll. They could have put 2. The Banh mi + drink combo was a disaster. I got cold cut sandwich. There was a lot of meat and pate which was awesome except that i had to pay extra for the pate. I thought it was standard for a combo cold cut banh mi to have pate. There were no green veggies in the sandwich except one TINY sliver of cucumber. You can see for yourself in the photo i included. No cilantro, no jalapeño, just a tiny piece of cucumber. "i love the porridge, but the one thing that i was kind of dissappointed in was the amount of chicken i got. i paid 6$ extra for some chicken and i only got a small portion. i was expecting more but i got maybe 4 pieces of chicken with bone. overall, the porridge was bomb but just disappointed in the portions."

"All good! I don't usually go for Walnut Prawn 核桃蝦球 these days, but it was well-executed (crunchy walnuts on the side, monstrous prawns in a mayo-dressing) and a fun change. The Braised duck with fresh mushroom and ginger 鮮冬菇老薑燜鴨煲 is a more Chinese presentation - you gotta nibble at the little duck bones. So good dish if you're ready to work at it a bit. Chinese Sausage & Dry Scallop Fried Rice 瑤柱臘味炒飯 was def a good break from traditional pork fried rice - sweet, dry Chinese sausage and the rice was well-textured with scallop bits in it. Finally, I'm always a sucker for Egg Custard Buns 奶皇流沙包 and these didn't disappoint - they're the orange variety, a bit gushy and squirty, sweet and still steamy. Glad I finally got a chance to try these guys and want to keep them in business. I will def return myself to try some of the good stuff I had to pass on this first visit -"

"I love Isarn Garden! If "fk around and find out", was a restaurant, this is it! I love spicy food and Isarn Garden always delivers. Ordered the Thai Papaya Salad / ส้มตำไทย with level 5 spice (max) and they do not play. It was extremely spicy, so enjoyable if you love the kick. Other thing ordered was the Larb Chicken Salad / ลาบไก่ at level 4 spice and Sticky Rice / ข้าวเหนียว. Taste great and I always love my food everytime I order. "

"I'm 3rd generation Shanghainese from NYC and did not think I could find any quality Chinese food on the Peninsula. Then came the pandemic and we tried almost every restaurant on DoorDash. This is one of our favorites now. Their buns (fresh or steam at home frozen) are amazing. Other favorites are the MaPo tofu and sautéed green beans. If you love tea eggs/soy sauce eggs definitely order those for snacks. Delivery was quicker than expected and whoever packs the food does an excellent job (no leaking). About to order again now! "
