"I'm autistic and an extremely picky eater, and I struggle to find "safe" foods that I can reliably eat. I often have issues with spiciness, unwanted sauces or veggies, the texture of meat being wrong, etc. I absolutely adore the Mild Chicken Burrito. The main issue with this place is the portions for the price. The Broke Bad Beef Burger is an average good tasting burger but its $20 for such a small portion. The fried chicken is also $11 for one piece + its mostly breading and barely any meat.
Theres not a lot of bbq in Van so i still appreciate this place.
tl;dr just get the ribs, riblettes and mac and cheese. be aware of small portions for a bigger price"

"I had such high hopes for this place, but the quality was really disappointing!
The Enfrijoladas are well portioned for the price, but the dish is bland. The chicken filling is super dry and has no flavour whatsoever--it seems like it's either bought frozen or boiled plain. The black bean sauce is okay but needs more flavour. The dish ingredient lists onions amongst the toppings, which actually turned out to be a tiny garnish of *pickled* onions, not the diced white onions you'd expect for a Mexican dish. I asked for onions and cilantro on top, which was not provided and would have helped inject some much-needed flavour dimension.
The Aguas Frescas (jamaica) was well made, not too sweet, but the $6 price tag is too much.
I would consider checking this cafe out in person to see if they have any other baked goods, but I won't be ordering a meal here again :("
