"Many years ago i was introduced to a thing called a hangover. You know the feeling, drained of energy, a headache that makes you feel nauseous.. the general feeling of sick and grumpy.. plus the sadness of wasting your sunday in bed or on the couch . Then magic happened .. my Brother introduced me to this restaurant called Basil.. it was my first time ever trying PHO.. my brother ordered me the Beef Sate and the Chicken Sate Salad rolls and laughed when I told him I wasn't that hungry ... he said trust me you're hungry for this... he was right it was literally life changing! .. bam no more hangover! Since then I have tried Pho at many other places and never have I found any of them even comparable.. I've taken a picture of my bowl and send it to my brother every time I get to eat here and he laughs at me. It's been at least 10 years or more now since my first visit and I am still amazed every time of how good the broth is!! It is my go to remedy to help my body feel amazing.. it has always battled any cold or flu symptoms.. I actually have cravings for it even when I'm not feeling sick... it's the perfect amount of spicy. . I love their biscuits and they're especially good with butter and honey. I like mash potatoes but wish the gravy didn't have chili's in it, that's a negative. The Mac n' cheese is good but wish the cheese was thicker, it's a bit too runny. Cajun fries are good, crispy and lots of flavor, poutine is good, rice and beans are okay, I'm used to homemade Mexican beans and rice so I'm probably being too picky. I do wish that they had drinks other than bottled pop, chocolate milk at least? It can be a bit pricy when ordering for a large family , I usually get a family meal with 1 extra side for 3 of us for around $50."

"Rosie's burgers were excellent!!! When I took the burger out of the burger sleeve, I was shocked how delicious the burger actually looked. The bun was probably the freshest bun I have ever got from a restaurant. The poutine was really good. The fries tasted good, the gravy was good, and there was a fair amount of cheese curds in there. My only complaint would be that the portion size ratio to price was a little expensive. I would have liked to see a little bit bigger portion size. There was cheese in it which I didn't expect but some places do put cheese. The beef was chewy & sinewy. The flavour was ok Assorted cold cuts was sliced paper thin, but there's lots of jalapeños so if ur into spicy that's great I guess. I do like the mayo & the veggies are fresh.
