"This was the first time we had ordered from FUNKY MOMO of East Vic Park WA. The Steamed Momo were lovely, protein-dense dumplings and of good value. One serve is 12 to 14 dumplings for $14.00. We chose Chicken, which had a good hit of ginger, and Pork, which had chives or another Asian green veg mixed in. The 3rd option is Lamb, which costs $2 more per serve. There were heaps of those black ear mushrooms on the bowl, like, a LOT, I don't mind them, but if you don't like a lot of those mushrooms, steer clear. "The Dasher was kind enough to offer canceling the order due to the package being damaged, but I didn’t bother to re-order. The soups had spilled, and the lunch bags were wet and torn. The containers used were unsuitable—the paper box, which seemed better for burgers or chips, caused the rice to stick to the container, and the salad got soggy. The packaging needs improvement to avoid these issues in the future. Tastewise, the food was okay, but the portion size was small (for me) and the chicken was fried with skin, and very dark. Rice texture was good."
